Ducati Riding Academy | offroad training | Ducati Multistrada 1260 enduro and Multistrada 950 enduro
Enlisted for an offroad training organized by Ducati in Italy. The motorcycles we could choose between were the Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro and the lighter Ducati 950 Enduro.
The training lasted for 2 days, actually galf a day for day 1 and a full second day. Lots of different exercises and a beautiful offroad ride theough the Tuscany countryside followed on the evening of day 2.
An awesome experience, learnt alot of tips and tricks and totally changed my opinion on the Multistrada 1260.. looks like a beautiful, brick like motorcycle but handles great, nice electronic adjustments both in terms of suspension and power delivery (the classic ride modes + other additional engine power delivery presets).
What a well balanced all rounder. Would think twice before riding it to Mongolia though... my trusty KTM 1190 Adventure R seems more rugged for the job.
The overall experience, the instructors, staff and accomodation was more than expected, would highly recommend the Ducati Riding Academy!

This would be such a dream vacation for me.
Very cool, as someone who has never owned a big bike and is wanting to get this (I am a dirt bike guy for ages), this is refreshing to see.

What tyres specifically are the nobbies? Very keen take mine off road, but what rear off road tyres fit the 1260s given the OEM is 190mm

If I remember correctly it was somewhere around 650EUR for 2 days, one dinner included

Nope, all the motorcycles were on-site, we flew by plane, I own a KTM :D

I am almost certain they will switch to the new Multistrada v4, that being the flagship. Get in touch with them and see what their plans are.
Las motos ducati son muy lindas, pero siempre fallan y su costo de mantenimiento es muy alto...... Una lastima no son confiables
These exercises ade joke ??? What the point of it ? Really? Is that all that multi is capable off roads those roads can be ridden with sport bike no need to wear full size dirt bike boots certainly not neck brace 😅
