Join us as we ride Ducati's incredible Multistrada V4 Rally. Arguably the new benchmark in offroad ready full size adventure bikes. Wayne is in love.

I love my v4 rally , the way it works is just amazing !!
I used to get nervous about dropping my $5K KLR650 on single track. I can't imagine thrashing the $30K Multistrada off road. Be a great sport tourer with some mild dirt or gravel roads for me. Thanks for the vid.
Well, at least you got to ride it how it should be ridden. Another quality review 👍
Here in Europe, I see thousends of BMW GSs but also an increasing number of Multistrada V4s. V4 Rallies are seen less but surprisingly I have seen two in rural France. I own the black full adventure one and could not be more happy with it. Where ever one looks at this bike there are top notch products and systems choosen. May be with the exception of Ducati Connect which uses Sygic instead of Android Auto and Apple Car Play. I get at least 450km with one tank of fuel. Top distance so far was 530 km with still some juice left. Skyhook Evo works amazing.
I saw, I subbed, I happy
Could you please do a video that provides your views of this bike relative to the new BMW GS 1300. I’d be very interested to hear your opinion.
Well, I watch these vids just to remind myself that I own this nice beauty. Not the rally though. For those saying it's expensive to drop, not really, maybe the rally is for it's aluminum tank. But the main reason I bought it over a GS was the whole set of front plastics, literally the whole outer shell of the bike if you drop it is 200€ to replace. At least on the original V4S. Also, would've loved you to compare how it feels like to other bikes. Throw in some facts or something. But great vid! Jealous of your countryside.
I currently own a 2018 multi enduro 1200, I’m definitely going to purchase one of these in the future, I will wait another year or so for the price to come down . Greta vid from the uk 😎👌🏻
It sounds like a non rally version with rally suspension, standard tank and 20kg less weight would be my ideal bike. Great video Wayne. Good to see a Tuareg in its natural environment.

I like your thinking 👍
Hello from Toowoomba! Man, I get how you feel. I don't ride in the dirt, but the Pikes Peak Multistrada, to me, is a special bike...that I really can't afford. I'll probably end up on the 1300 GS, which I can get with crash bars and panniers for less than I can get the Multi, which I'd still have to pay more for to get heated grips, panniers, etc. If I had the money, I'd do it in a second. Great review.

@@Vicko026 that's the thing I love about Ducati. Someone said hey, let's stuff a Panagale engine in a Pikes Peak frame...and nobody said "no, that doesn't make sense". They said "That's nuts, lets do it!"
Imagine laying this thing down with a broken shoulder in the middle of nowhere with no phone signal? 😮

any sane person who routinely rides solo far from civilization would have a gps emergency beacon like Spot.
Its an excitement machine. Better than the 1300 GS Trophy X?

Hey buddy; nice to say about, now how about the desert only U say this others I’ve seen say to much power 🤨

Off road mode limits power back to 114 horsepower. It didn't feel like too much power in the loose stuff at all.
Hi there. Curious, were you arising around Anglesea and Airyes?

what tire pressure are you running? those scorpion tires look to be handling well offroad.

I can’t actually remember - but they weren’t dropped for off-roading. That was the same pressure I was running for highway and commuting duties.

@@Vicko026 you look to be handling everything without a problem even the slippery rutted stuff, did you just come back from a ride school or something..?

@@Vicko026 for me it's keeping that inside elbow up makes all the difference, i did an onroad training day with California ride school at Phillip island, it was so good, i did level 1 beginner twice coz my mates were there for the first time, but it was the best to get a double dose of the basics, there's like 5 levels so 1 day when i can afford to live i'll be on it again, it was on the 1260 enduro, there should be a statue of me there, i was a legend, those coaches are like hypnotists, absolutely amazing

@@tobanhoffmann8347 hahahaha classic. I might be heading back to the island later this year for some more training after being largely absent from tracks for the best part of 15 years. Will be interesting to see how much I can pick up again 😎👍
A fantastic bike, but if you crash k=lots of money to fix it.
What tires? 💪
