That last video made me laugh. I have a 2007 S2R 800 with the black wheels. I have had it since 2018 (I live in Ottawa and I have never seen another one in the wild). Last year I ordered a 7 inch headlight and had the exact same problem. However I did not know where to get a ring and ended up putting back the original. Thanks to you I can now get the conversion ring! I find it very interesting that we have done almost identical mods. First I removed the little fairing and added the shorty pipes in 2018. In 2019 I did the tail tidy. Now you are ahead of me. In the Winter of 2020 I bought the headlamp and signal lights but did not install either. I really like your choice of signal lights. Can you see them blinking from behind... that would be a very useful feature for me because I sometimes forget to turn then off. I am really wondering what you are going to do next because I was planning on stopping with mods after the headlight and signal lights. Cheers

Nice I am sure we are not the only ones who had the exact same problem haha! So for the signal lights you can't see them from behind but my tail light acts as a signal light as well. How many kilometers are on your bike by the way? I was thinking about maybe going with bronze wheels. a bunch more videos will be coming out about the mods shortly 🤞 honestly really happy spring is on the way!

Last year when I had the issue I found a number of people had the problem. One guy 3D printed his own ring. At the time I couldn't find a good source to buy from. Funny, the ring is going to cost around what I paid for the headlight! My bike has around 44K (currently in storage for the winter). The bronze wheels would be nice especially if you added some bronze accents like the bronze ohlins forks or levers etc. My son who is a supercar nut thinks I should put red pinstripes on my black wheels. That would look nice on your white wheels as well. Maybe you could do an instructional video on that before you get your bronze wheels :)

I just googled out the ''original'' version is probeam adaptive2 headlight. In case you are interested. Kind of overkill for an M600 though :/

Its M600 dark :) my friend and me just finished with the complete dissasembly, paintwork and reassemble. I love it :) Leovince exhausts makes some noise :D

Did you have to install an LED Relais? All I know from previous experience with my Yamaha, which is from the 70s, is that for a successful change to LED lights you would need to install a Relais. Is this still the case here or can you just plug and play?

I've been debating taking the path you did with the headlight on my 03 which is Black/Silver (Dark). These bikes have a timeless beauty, but some of your updates really help modernize it ever so gently that they don't take away from the retro look that we all treasure about the classic Monster. Nicely done!!

That's exactly my feeling about the mods especially with the headlight David. I didn't want to take away and Frankenstein the motorcycle from what makes it beautiful from the factory but I think some of these mods just add a little bit of that modern look and feel to it without going over the top. I guess we have the same taste ;)

I can't find this 7 "HEADLIGHT CONVERSION RING. Could you or anyone else send me a link to this ring. Best from eBay, AliExpress or similar sites.
