FYI, the guy builds them (wiring harness) after they're ordered but he's very quick. The cheaper way is put a paperclip in the side stand switch disabling it but I didn't like that option. For $50-60 this harness is a worthwhile addition.

I didn't know Ducati"s did that. Excellent Back in the Garage, you all be safe.

those are the stock bars

Wire to kickstand sheered off. Itll start with kickstand down in neutral. But wont start in gear with kickstand up even if clutch is in

Thanks for the video! Bummer, the only company I found still selling these will set you back over $70. But I suppose it’s still worth it instead of just disabling the sensor.

Not cheap but still a decent investment.

Got this on my 996. Pity Ducati didn't introduce this mod until 2002/03

Sorry Brian. I quickly looked at your last comment and didn't realize you were talking about the bypass mod. Glad you were able to get one. I know my sister loves that her bike had that on it now.

So I went to buy one of these and Electreon was just like "we don't make these for that bike, it's only for the ST/SS". I know a guy with one and I told him about videos like this and he's like "where? what video? It doesn't work." Electreon are jokes for customer service.

That's weird. It looks like they have them in stock on their website. That bypass has been working great ever since we installed it.

@@2WR I had a whole conversation with the dude on Ebay where he refuses to answer me and when he does its to tell me what I told you and to tell me I need a "skilled mechanic". Electreon not Ducati Winchester btw.

@@2WR the guy was super weird about it too like before he even handled my order he asked me for pics of my bike from an angle that you could see the license plate from. Whoever I spoke to was a super douchy kind of person.
