Ducati number one

I'm days away from picking up my DesertX with this system and engine tune installed. Will be a challenging to get the 650 mile break in done while keeping it under 6k RPM. Heard the system on a showroom floor demo DDX at Dallas Ducati. The mirrors on a Ducati parked 8 ft away were vibrating with the bass. 😲 Was a must have on my DDX. The vid doesn't even BEGIN to reproduce the basso-profundo sounds the system makes.

It’s a fantastic system. I always recommend keeping the bike stock until you hit the first service. You will appreciate the massive difference more in power once you out 620 miles on the bike than swap it out.

Baffle out for maximum performance.

Can't remove my baffle !? Any tips ? Pulling on it, cold or hot, it does not want to get out 😢

I used a piece of thick wire. Made a hook on the end, pushed it into the baffle so it caught deep inside. Yanking it it 2/3 times it pulled it out undamaged.

Hocorse is much cheaper and to be honest sounds great. This sounds great but the price is crazy

Yeah the price is high. However, if you go with any other company as of right now you will have to run it on a dyno and add a tune for peak performance. So that being said it’s very similar price point when sticking to the OEM brand. Now in a. Few months UpMap will be releasing theirs and that will save you a ton.

@@jamesbarratt593 the Termi Ducati exhaust comes with a map when you purchase it. It’s a specific one time use code via the ducati DDS terminal for instal. The map is forever linked to the VIN of your moto in the Ducati database. If you buy anything else you have to do a tune.

Sounds exactly like my Africa twin.

Yes, the AT sounds good unmodified. This full (cat delete) exhaust system not only drops DDX wet weigh to around 480, but the Ducati dealer does an Evo tune reflash of the ECU. It doesn't void the Factory warranty. Noticeably quicker throttle response, much cooler (no 'broiler oven' cat) and ~120hp/80 ft lbs Tq. Picking my DDX up next week, this race exhaust option was a must have.

The sled is a fun bike and feels like a big dirt bike. The biggest cons on the sled is the heat, comfort, and range. The DX is a good all rounder
