glad to hear that, hopefully there will be some more Ducati entries on the islands roads in the near future!

The Pantah derived engine had some good wins at the TT along with Hailwoods victory in the 78 TT on the 900 bevel geared engine. Always glad I managed to do a number of laps of the course on my 1979 900SS at the 1987 TT. 😊

The sadness of the loss of Robert Holden is still with us in New Zealand.

I can well imagine that as he was a very popular rider and successful too. One of my personal favorite riders ever to have raced in The Isle of Man

your welcome, I really enjoyed working on this video and I felt the Ducati story at the TT was well worth telling in a film!

Anthony... Absolutely Amazing ! very nice video. I remember the debut of Michael to the TT 1994, in the paddock with his dad which helped him ! I have always loved the driving style of M. Rutter, accurate, effective and extremely smart.

thank you. Michael has a very smooth and stylish riding technique and I always enjoy watching him. I remember his TT debut and it got a lot of attention because of the family connection and the fact he was a big name rider on short circuits. he is still racing at approaching 50 years old so I hope to see him in action on the island again this year! all the best

​@@anthonycubbon741 You won't believe it... but in flight: Hydro London, in flight with the Manx Airlines of the TT 1999. M. Rutter he was sitting in the armchair in front of me with his girlfriend. I greeted him with my head before I sit down , and he smiled back at me ! I occasionally look at my friends sitting on the other side, and laughing I made the gesture of being race in the wake of Michael ! ;D lol (I'm a year older than Rutter. 1970 ) ;)

if you travel to the TT you know you are getting near the Isle of Man when you start to see racers on the boat or plane🙂 I am from the Isle of Man have lived here almost all my life ,but for a few years I was living in England and would come back to the IOM at TT time and one year I got on the boat and was sat next to David jefferies!

​@@anthonycubbon741 David Jefferies is a Mito ! If you look at the TT 99 (Long Review - Pure Grit), at the end when they interview him, in the las race TT Senior, the one behind him with the jacket "Honda Britain" with the camera around his neck, it's me ! look at us then let me know ! ;)

Can't believe all these so called Ducati fans know so little about the bikes history on the roads. Great upload. Michaels father Tony was Ducatis most successful rider of the day.

Glad you enjoyed this upload I have watched the careers of both Michael and Tony Rutter here on the island and they are true racing legends for sure! Michael is still racing so maybe he will be back out on the classic Ducatis again later this year. If he is I will be sure I am there to film it and post it on my channel!

Hi Anthony ! I have only now learned that John McGuinnes returned to Honda U.K. HRC ! :) It's great news... I am convinced that John be very motivated, because the " CBR Fireblade" it has always been his Bike, with that he will be able to dare more, it is a Bike he knows how to ride, with regards to i "previous feedback". But will have to contend with: Peter Hickman, Dean Harrison and Michael Dunlop, frighteningly fast as early as the first mile. If he were to make it even in one class SBK will become even more legendary. I think now she already feels a lot of pressure, knowing that Honda believes in him, as it happened in the year 2000 with Joey Dunlop. (I hope I have explained, forgive my poor english) ;(

John seems happy to be back at Honda again. I hope John Andrew teammate Glen Irwin both have a good TT. It will be interesting to see what bikes the other riders will be on

Ducati gives off a sound of a two-stroke engine maybe because of its valvetrain system!

L 2 aircooled ,faster then the suzuki 1100 aircooled @Ostend races of the 90’s
