I created the channel to promote the city and it's people but when I saw how good this generation of Buskers were and that they had no platform I decided to make DCT their platform. The second question is more difficult as I have so many incredible memories with so many amazing buskers but I think it would have to be Jacob Koopman as we ended up sharing an apartment together for two and a half years and he was the best housemate I ever had. Appreciate you as always, much love from myself and Jasmine 🙏💚😇

I'm in Scotland so I don't know if there has been any TV programmes in Ireland featuring a cross section of the buskers. Also, far too few people in the UK are aware of Dublin's music scene. I so hope that some producer on maybe C4. C5 or BBC4 in the UK could be interested in doing a documentary feature covering the music scene with some examples. Have you ever spoken to the likes. of Ed Sheeran, Louis Capaldi or Niall Horan with a view to seeing how they could push these ideas Anyway, you're doing a great job however far it goes. Buskers in the old days didn't need amplification or backing tracks. A lot of todays buskers blow the head off folks..Keep it Acoustic, if your good enough your talent will get you through your set, and people will stop and listen..

We have buskers here that have been busking since the 1960's 70's 80'etc who do use amps and love using them. There are parts of the city that don't allow amps so everyone is happy. Huge crowds watch buskers with amps every day and I have never heard anyone complaining. Great things are happening for Buskers using amps. Backing tracks are not allowed here.
