The waterfall on the Sheikh Zayed Road bridge is an important attraction in the water canal. It is on the side of the bridge that faces away from Al Habtoor City. This mechanical waterfall is flooded with purple, blue and pink lights. When a boat passes underneath the bridge, sensors pick it up and open the waterfall like a curtain. The waterfall closes again when the boat has passed and is far enough. It uses 80 water pumps to pull the water from the canal.
