No crimes you can see, at least. Truth is, the Emirates used a lot of slave labour to build the city. They promised people from countries like India a job there, then confiscated their passports and are now trapped there. There was a year where on average about 10 Indian workers died PER DAY.

Just to clear all ur doubts, oil accounts for only 1% of dubai's economy, they earn mostly from trade and tourism, but the rest of UAE is however oil dependant, eventhough less than it's neighbors (except oman, which is also benefitted mostly through tourism and other stuff)

Impressive animation, must have taken much time to create! The over 1km high Dubai Creek Tower that was supposed to be completed in 2021 in the end is currently on hold though.

I have stayed a few times at the Royal Atlantis Resort. It is one of the most spectacular hotels I have ever visited. We got a good deal on one of their deluxe rooms, had an incredible 3 day stay. Worth checking out, next time you visit

Oil is the most important part of their economy, they can’t give up it so easily!
