Good review Alek, like you I haven't seen much on the warrior X so I went ahead and bought one anyway, I have had it a couple of weeks and am impressed by the overall quality of the build. It is a beautiful high quality machine. Mine is the 28ah minimotors pro + . I got the 10 vs the 11 because I have to carry it up steps on the path up to our house (that's Wellington for you) True, the rear brake can lock up easily but that's ok, Living up big hills in Wellington it has enough power to motor up the big ones at around 36-40kph. Wind does slow things down but overall this scooter has enough power to overcome the hills/wind combination. My only issues with this scooter would be the same as any of the higher power ones available, that is a need for a smoother power delivery, on our tight, windy, hilly streets if you slow down for a tight corner in dual turbo mode (which is necessary to get up the hills) then you get jerked forward with the torque which makes for uncomfortable riding, a more progressive delivery would make for more comfort. Also when going down hills the brakes slow you abruptly with even the gentlest pressure, I used to be a motorcyclist and the lack of progression would have drawn scathing comments from riders....most of these issues wouldn't apply to flatter cities with better roads. The rapid repeated jolting on our capital's suburban roads even with this suspension is a bit tiring. Don't take this as a negative on this scooter, it's not the scooter's fault, it's the small wheel, rough road combination. Kaabo have made a great scooter here and I would absolutely recommend this warrior x to anyone wanting a good fast stable scooter.. Keep up the good work.

Wellington! I'm in the hutt and always looking for folk to go on group rides with. I have a Dualtron 2 MX (it's basically the same as eagle pro with a bit smaller battery, no stem lighting, a bit less speed). Sounds like mine has a more progressive throttle, i still have to be careful with it tho. I dialled down the electric braking a bit but it can still be a bit abrupt at high speeds. The mechanical disc brakes are good (need more care than hydraulics tho, can be grabby) and i use the front brake more than the rear to stop because of the risk of locking up the back wheel and leaving a strip of rubber on the road. :) Riding hills is fun and easy - but that's after a year of riding, tuning and getting used to it.

Hey Alek, very informative video, cheers! As a Kaabo owner myself (Mantis Duo) just want to clarify pronunciation. With a double vowel in the name, this lengthens the accent on the "a" and there's only one "o", so it should be like "Kar-bow" not "Ka-boo". I'm in Brisbane too, so hope to see you on a ride somewhere! :)

Nice review on speed and range. I assume you will do a teardown, and cost and availability of parts such as tyres, brake levers, display/throttle and battery, ease of tyre changing and real world waterproof test as part of a complete review.

Absolutely Nic. We just received these a few days ago. Actually the wolf was received on the 1/4 and the Eagle was on the 29/3. There will be a lot more reviews on the breakdown costs in future updates. As a novice rider I wanted to help others makes the right purchase. With which I hope this helps newbies like me. I’ve ordered a Wolf King due next week and a week later a Ultimate 2! Let’s see how they go

I'm about to pull the trigger on the Wolf Warrior X plus, I saw in a review by Jimmy Chang that the rear fender rubs on the back wheel when going off curbs, That's literally the only thing making me hestitate.. Great video mate, Subbed for more great content!

Hi mate. Thanks for watching. Yes all the wolf scooters rub, even my King does the same. But this is only i minor concern as the scooter is amazing. You can buy different rubber spaces that suits your riding style and weight. There also cheap. You will enjoy the scooter m. Thanks for subscribing

If you order the pro version from voromoters they fix the issue before shipping it to you and kaabo are apparently fixing the issue for new models

Very strange in the U.S. they were wolf warrior X 21ah and wolf warrior X pro 28ah with LG battery's, I have the Pro myself. Odd they call it Pluse over seas.

Thanks for watching. I haven’t had the chance to test ride the Apollo as yet but I’ve heard good things. However after doing this test on the Wolf X I ended up buying the Wolf King! It sold me on the brand

Can you include endurance in your reviews with your scooters ~ Battery capacity left after a days ride and how many kilometres travelled, and battery/scooter performance at low capacity? The vital charge needed to get home after a long days outing! Does the electrical system have a cut-off??

That’s easy to explain here. I was going to add that in but the video went a little longer than hoped. So with our first long ride, we did 54km on a single charge. That was over 4hrs of riding in eco mod dual motors. The top speed was 55km/with an average of 17km/h normal riding. My battery percentage was down to 42% when we finished. Mj(wife) on the wolf had 65% battery power left as she is a light rider. The ride was nonstop, we only stopped for toilet breaks and traffic lights. As the scooters are brand new, we haven’t had the chance to drain the batteries completely however this will be tested shortly. However I have noticed that when the battery does run low there is a warning light on the controller which flashes. I noticed this when we were climbing a hill on the big ride day and I went hard. Hope this helps

Electric brake at 0 on the Eagle ?

Hi. Are you getting a Rear Fender Wheel Rubbing problem on your WW X Plus during heavy compression while riding. Such as jumping curbs, bumps, etc? Jimmy Chang has this problem with his X Plus..

Absolutely mate. Even on the King I’m getting it. You need to buy new rubbers which are rated higher. There a scooter store called Dubitz

It’s the duel stem for me I don’t even ride scooters all like that I have 3 cars lol but I’d rather sometimes at night use the wolf x over any of my vehicles !

What alot of people fail to realise with the Wolf X is that it has a huge 30A controller! There's a scooter race track in Singapore where the boys say the Wolf X is the fastest around track...beating all others in the 'Wolf Pack' including the King....This they say is down to it's relative light weight and 30A Controller. Regarding the breaking - were you properly leaning back on the anchors....not just in normal riding stance? With more weight on the rear wheel it won't skid like that :) Great video - nice to see another take on the X - probably going to be my purchase. 60v, dual stem (no wobble) and $2.2k delivered from Aliexpress.

Great and honest review Alek, Grats! I can tell you I was looking exactly for this kind of review 'cos I'm Interested in wolf warrior X plus (not pro 28ah minimotors) and I own and tried many dualtrons. What about stability? I think Warrior X is the winner with dual stem fork. Any play or wobble? Dualtrons sometimes got a bit of play in stem. I think wolf X is more stable at low and high speeds, more safe? Maybe the eagle is a bit more nimble at low speed due to its weght and single stem? Another question: what about throttle response? There is ok? Some lag? Minimotors are very responsive and u can manage the acceleration and speed at low speed too. With Wolf X with normal controllers and dashboard? Thanks a lot, Regards. Vic

At fast speeds the Wolf has it. However the machine just keeps giving. I found the Dualtron to be more steady on long rides due to the wider deck. But the wolf if really comfortable too. Keep in mind the wolf is made to go off road, the Eagle isn’t and we tested that. Which I will upload next week. With the forks, yes Dualtron hasn’t fixed these issues but the wolf has no play at all! In fact and in my personal opinion. The wolf is the bomb. King of the mountain in this scooter range. Take a wolf out for ride and you will see what I mean... heaps of power Thanks for taking the time to watch...

I read controllers of wolf x plus are not minimotors but SINEWAVE, not squarewave. Good overall I think! I hope to buy or try one soon :D Thanks Alek!

Hmm. I know the eagle pro has been clocked at over 70kmh so only 50 sounds way slow. You're not that heavy lol there must be something else to unlock in settings

@@JamesFaction check at 25:24. Top speed was 67 km/h for Eagle Pro and 72 km/h per Wolf X. With 106 kg rider

I do not know how I fell in love of electric scooters. Now I have a victor duatron, and my sights set on the wolf x, if you could choose one of these two, which one would you go for? (thanks for your video)

I think you should get the braking system checked out as the Warrior has ABS and should not lock up. Thanks for the upload

Have u had experience with your lights indicators and horn not working. Cause my xplus got that problem and the front ebrake is stuck on stop so wont work unless I unplug it.

The only way I stop spinning the wheels is if I put all my weight at the front! I have the settings at 100% power, no saving mode and no kick start. Acceleration at 1 so the pick up is straight away

@@fluffymat1 amazing.. we did a full day of riding on eco mod dual motors at 25km/h and we did nearly 70km on one charge. She still had 3 battery bars left. Great scooter wish we never sold it

I eneded getting the eagle pro due to I hear it gets more real world range but I was pretty close to getting g the wolf but the range was the deal breaker.

@@JustAnotherReviewwithAlek dirt? are you talking about investing in mining shares like 'CHN' (asx code) [look at the 1 year price chart of it and even the 5 year price chart] or are you talking about investing in land/real-estate (dirt). Have you got a backup plan if the banking industry disappears very soon if cryptocurrency takes over things in 2022 onwards? how do you personally learn about things that can earn you some more money (cash-flow) if no seminars/books/youtube-videos/online-courses?

Would the kaabo be to small for a 6ft3 rider?

Definitely not. I’m 6.1 and 98kg and the Kaabo is a beast. Especially if it’s your first scooter. I needed up buying the Kaabo King after this video just because I’m stupid

@@Natecoxy To be honest, the distance I got with me riding was around 36-40kM. Now, that is with a speed of 10-15km/h “slow” and we still had 3 bars left. Now I’m 6.2 and 90kg. With my wife, she went a lot further at the same speed. And of course she was a little lighter. Well heaps lighter

I was able to hit 81km on my wolf but then again I do weight 135 pounds

My wife at 62kg was able to ride at speeds of 20-25km/h no stop was able to get 70km with still two bars on battery. We haven’t tested hard riding as yet. However with that being said. I have a Wolf King and that got 80km with hard riding at speeds of 65km/h and at times 72km/h. Couldn’t go fast due to Victorian laws and no free space. Hope this helps

I was getting 36 miles single motor 15 mph

160kg x 2.2 = 352lbs. Just fyi... If 160 is what you said? You don't look that heavy, wearing it well? :)

avoid iscoot if you can. they are renowned for giving up on their customers when it comes to repairs and try funny shit when it comes to warranty.. should have followed my vid and used my name at Dubitz ;) one shop that looks after customers. not just sell and forget. and also scooter bros. new shop just opened (two shops up here i personally trust). iscoot im sure have been told to not sell kaabo by kaabo themselves. as they cannot provide a proper service.
