pressing down on the joysticks dont damage them,i have had my ps4 for 9 years and i have always used them consistently and i recently switched over to ps5 and use the same ps4 controller and it has no problems

@@cnaticalI know that pressing down on the joysticks don’t damage them, yet I still don’t like to press down on them. I find it easier to use the additional buttons on the bottom of the DualSense Edge PS5 controller.

I play zero build mostly and I mapped the back right button to be jump and the back left button to be reload/interact. I just got the idea while watching this video to change the back left button to crouch/slide so I can spam crouch while in a close fight. I haven’t messed around with the sensitivity settings for the DualSense Edge, and I will definitely try that out! Thanks!

Use left for jump. That way you can AIM more steady because you’re not smashing the back right button, messing up your aim.

Thx for the tips with the sticks. Will try them out. I did change in-game controller settings as well to split the build/edit function. So that I build with down on the directional button (mapped to left paddle). Unfortunately I had to sacrifice the Emote function for this to work. I then use circle for edit and I use right paddle for jumping. Would be great with a solution without sacrificing the Emote function while keep the split of build and edit... Any advice?

Get rid of squad coms and put emote. At least for me, I never use squad coms

Two questions. 1. Should you adjust the trigger deadzones in the settings menu of the controller? 2. You have to choose sensitivity curves in game menu like dynamic, linear etc. How does this effect when you also adjust sensitivity curves on the controller?

Leave default just use in game options. Deadzone should be 0 on triggers for responsive firing

Raynday talking about Fortnite is something I never knew could weird me out…

I owned this controller for months and have been using it for many games such as, platformers and shooters! I use the left paddle for pinging on fortnite I have not changed the right paddle to anything else yet.

You can use this controller on a steam deck or PC for the best experience when playing PC games its fully customizable with steam and it works with every game even if it doesn't have controller support

Could you please add some of these customisable settings to the standard Dualsense controller, I know many gamers such as myself would greatly appreciate it.

there are some features in the standard duelsense. in fortnite you can change the adaptive triggers settings so that you don't need to do a full press

For me its jump on the right And edit on the left with switch mode in the touchpad then you can use your joysticks for reload and pickaxe because your not gonna use the joysticks to much so you can skip the drift problems in the joysticks

Though on PC, I use mine with gyro aiming. Genuinely ditched using keyboard and mouse as a result.

I don't understand the point of palettes. I thought these would have been new touches. Well no. This is just for moving existing keys. So I needed additional keys for additional actions. Instead, I have to move X on the paddles so I can use the X on the pad afterwards. It would have been great if instead we would have had new L4 R4 keys

Xbox controller will have horrible stick drift in less than a year just closing it. The case is horrible.

Guys trust me, in FPS like Call of Duty set the back paddles to R2 and L2 !!!! TOTAL GAMECHANGER!!!! immediate fire like a mouse click, it's so good and effective that it feels like cheating!!!

Or just change the slider to shorten how far L2 and R2 need to be pressed. It would be like a mouse click. He literally explained in the video. Then change anything that take you thumb off the analogs such as jump and reload for cod. Bro like seriously did you watch the video 😂

Buenas el mando muy bonito,pero cuando se te van los joystick y lo llevas a la garantía.es una verdadera estafa,tu mandas tu mando a arreglar y ellos tienen el derecho de mandarte un mando de otra persona arreglado,te lo intercambian por el tuyo,cuando lo lógico es que si mi mando no tiene solución te manden un mando nuevo para eso esta dentro de garantia,pues no te mandan el mando de otra persona arreglado, no se si por no tarda mucho en las entregas mientras arreglan el tuyo o yo que se, pero tu mando no lo vuelves a ver,entonces para que preparo yo el embalaje perfecto para que no sufra en el camino si no me vas a devolver mi mando,por que por cierto si mandas el mando y se rompe en el camino también sería problema toyu todo eso también te lo dicen. por cierto me mandan un mando de otra persona y para colmo también viene averiado por los joysticks,lamentable el trato de Sony. Eso es como si te compras un coche lo mandas al taller por la garantía y te Dan el coche de otra persona y te dicen no pero si esta arreglado tu tienes lo que quieres un coche arreglado. En conclusión no comprarse este mando que hay mandos mejores y no hacen este tipo de estafa en la garantía. Um saludo y espero ayudar a otros jugadores que no les pase lo mismo que me pasó a mi.
