One thing that no one has mentioned is that you can actually swap out the right and left back paddles to have them more protruding. I like it better that way

I love mine! I was impressed with release day delivery the battery life is shit but I don’t mind plugging the controller in from the couch

Hows the battery life without haptic feedback or adaptive triggers?

To me the only downside of the controller is the alternate thumb grips as they are all sporting the classic PS convex shapes. The Xbox E2 had at least some variety. However a $10 skull and co grip caps that I bought a while back should remedy that issue.

Do the back buttons work when playing games on pc/through steam? Can back buttons be remapped without a ps5?

Really great review 👏 The consensus does seem to be that the controller itself is great, but the price is too high. And, yeah 210 quid for one controller is defo super steep.

Is the touchpad remappable to any button as well?

One thing that bugs me with the score card: am I supposed to be able to read the whole thing in the three odd seconds it's on screen or is it meant to be read while paused? I'm not a native speaker which might be the problem, hence the question

It looks cool but not having 4 paddles on the back is a deal breaker for me. I use the old Xbox elite for PC and Xbox and for PS I use a Scuff. Without the paddles I can't play anything anymore.

I prepurchased this controller because I would be most cost effective.Because unless you're good a taking the duel sense controller apart to fix the stick drift and all that goes into fixing it then that's great but I would rather spend $20 for stick modules then $75 for a new controller so If u have 2 controller's that's $150 ....just saying

So what is a better option if not this one ?

The standard Dualsense is the only real other option. It’s about how you value the controller. This is as good as it gets but it is not cheap.

It’s designed for ps5 as there bespoke software that is made especially for this. On pc you’re losing a lot of that functionality and would be better to buy a standard dualsense.

It’s overpriced, when you compare it to the Xbox elite controller which has more features, I’m going to wait till the prices come down before I get one

wtf is with this spice tag!? any other pro controller is 180 to 250 ...so it's actually on cheaper side. this is for har core gamers not an average Joe playing fortinte on weekend

No 4 paddles, caps switching is not magnetic, the thumbstick uses the same potentiometer model as the regular DualSense (designed for failure), no wireless charging, insignificant battery life, no PC support out of the box apart from the essential Dual Sense support via Steam input. This is really far from perfect, specially for the price. Sorry but you sound really biased about the value of this controller...competition is doing a lot better in this category.

This is not a perfect controller it don't even last 24 hours they didn't use the Hall effect sensors should have had swappable d-pad

Realy BAD REVIEW !!! You quickly mentioned the battery that is a BIG DEAL for progamers the usb cord maybe long but more then 200 euro's for a wireless controller but you can use the long cord......realy ? Battery life is shorter then the normal dualsense.

4 Hours battery out of the box, so 2-3 hours in a year, basically a cabled device for $340 dollars. Hard pass, all I wanted from this is better battery and 4 back buttons. Overkill design in areas I don't care about, under developed in areas that needed improving. You can buy a Nintendo switch for the price of this and a replacement battery which voids your warranty. No thanks. You don't even mention the battery in your conclusion, I know your a paid shill and need free stuff from Sony to keep the channel going so I'll give you a pass on that but I don't know your channel so out of the gate it's a downvote and "don't recommend this channel" from me.
