Lol, so true in that their self-image is so much bigger than their physical size! I had an orange cat who always had to visit anyone in bathroom privacy. He wouldn't just sidle in, he had to fling the door back on its hinges as he entered doing what we called the "200 pound walk" (picture Mufasa pacing in slo-mo with Darth Vader's theme playing in the background).

Jordi Saura Black panthers are either black leopards or black jaguars. This particular big cat in the video is a black leopard, I know this because of it’s skull shape and long tail, while Jaguars have shorter tails and broader skulls.

@The Panther Besides that a jaguar's rosettes has spots inside them , a leopard does not have that , its the easiest hint to difference them. Although with the black ones youd have to look closer , but yes this one in the vid is a leopard.

@@laurendaryani4893 mine has a hint of brown in the light, that because the base of the fur of brown, but the tip is black, so if it’s in the sunlight and you look at him in a certain angle, he looks kinda brown in some places

That is your perception, in reality that little domesticated cat is way more dangerous to the wildlife than any of the larger cats. Look up the videos of them hunting rabbits or mice here on KZread, and your idea of them looking only cute instead of menacing will evaporate.

Yup, wild cats are all business, nothing taken for granted, whereas domesticated cats, capable killing machines though they may be, by-and-large have an air of complacency about them.

what utterly AMAZING photography, brilliant I could watch this kind of stuff for hours, camera man 10 out of 10 for this photography.

Meh! Not really. It doesn't do the subject matter justice. The framing could be better (eg. at 1:00 we miss the claws coming out and at 1:27 it's just dreadful). The domestic cat is out of focus for the whole shot at 1:13 and only briefly in focus at 1:24. It looks as though the operator pre-set the lens and let the cat walk through the narrow plane of focus instead of pulling focus on its eyes. The same mistake is repeated at 1:45. Considering the trouble they went to (see the behind the scenes clip) they could have lit it better too. There's a rich texture and glossy beauty in both cats' fur that simply can't be seen in some shots. The jungle cat is underexposed at 1:17. And to top it off there's bad green/magenta chromatic aberration throughout. I give it 6 out of 10. Good enough for KZread but not broadcast quality, by a long way.
