Earlier this summer, an all-women team of DU faculty and graduate students hosted DU SciTech Camp for Denver-area middle schoolers with a special focus on young women from underrepresented and marginalized communities. From building robots to visiting the Chamberlin Observatory, the goal was to empower, inspire and bring awareness to opportunities in the world of STEM. Thanks to the support of generous donors, this camp was offered free of charge.
