Could you please help with differentiating between "Y" igreck and "en"?
wow thank u so much....merci madame.....😇
Merci a lot
under rated channel
Merci
also something to note is that in the negative du changes to de or d' depending on if the noun starts with a vowel like orange: for example je ne veux pas de pain: i dont want bread/ je n'ai pas besoin d'oranges pour cette recette: i dont need oranges for this recipe
First! Et Merci from Normandie .
When do I use it as preposition? Un programme d'échanges ou un programme des échanges? Coordonnator des services not de services?
Hello ! Thank you for this explanation because now i know what it actually means. But i have 1 question; In what case do you use Du l' or De la ???

Hi, thank you for your comment! Actually, you will use DE L' and DE LA as partitives :) I have another video on partitives in my channel.

Bonjour ! I'm very happy to know that it helps! I have no transcription for the videos, as I do everything myself (recording and editing), but for most of my episodes on my podcast, you can find the show notes on learntofrench.com 🌸

please tell me the rule of DE/DU for the below 4 examples: le goût du vin le type de vin le prix du vin la marque de vin
Does the same apply to "près du" and "près de"? Are there any exceptions?

so près de is like the name of the direction if that makes sense but it changes when you mention je suis près de l'école/ je suis située en face du cinéma so its changes based on the noun that comes after. because its i am situated opposite "of the" cinema: of the is de le. remember when the lady said you use du when de le would be used, this would be an example of this. however in negation this will change to de. hope this comment helped :))
which one is right a. Les Instructions de Docteur or b. Les Instructions du Doctuer and please explain the reason

I would say "Les instructions du Docteur" or "Les instructions du médecin" :)
Can you make a video with the words that have french "u" sound. It would be the hit because i havent seen anything similar on youtube. I suggest at least 100 words. So we can train our ear. Thank you

Great idea! Let me see what I can come up with 😊
is in the phrase.: deux verres de lait: the same D sound in deux and de

Bonjour ! No, "deux" sounds deeper than "de". The main difference is that in "deux", the lips are closer together than in "de" :)

They sound the same in the southern accent. Like Nice, Toulouse and Marseille.
please what is the difference between de & du here: La couleur du vin Le goût du vin Le type de vin le verre de vin It's very hard to understand the difference and when to use de or du

omg i looked this up its so to know the answer but ive come to the conclusion that la couleur du vin and le goût du vin are exceptions. however the last one is de like un verre de vin because its a specific quantity. so i would say just learn the first two off by heart. the third makes sense because it says the type of wine which is specific. but ya the first two are a mystery because its describing the wine so it technically should use de.
I have in the end certainly learned something - after skipping a very, very tedious first minute or more.
un kilo de pommes
Merci!!!!
