    stupid question, if i normally fill mine with 5.5 quarts would i only do 5 because there’s 1/2 in the cooler? Or fill until it’s reading correct on the dipstick like normal? Thanks for the vid installing this soon!

    would you recommend mid block sleeves?

  • @ProdigePerformance

    @ProdigePerformance

    Жыл бұрын

    Nope. CSS is a better option These engines won’t see the need for sleeves unless it’s built right. I’ve only helped one person achieve big numbers that require sleeves and in the end of the build he spent 37k on motor trans rear end and custom engine parts. If you’re aiming for anything under 700 wheel then css is always recommended

    I actually had a guy last year ship me his gen from Ohio and swapped in a new engine trans and big turbo kit. Took me only a week to do it all, I source my motors from car-parts.com There’s a shit load on there. Right now I have 5-6 engines locally that I can get if a customer needed one

    @@ProdigePerformance I got 2 from LKQ and they were both roasted #1 & #2 cylinders were carbon and oil filled after I went to swap the manifold... chain broke on original, are they a interference motor 2.0? Please

    @@MrImpossible it’s normal to see oil in the intake manifold. That’s why I tell everyone to get catch cans. And yes they are. If that chain breaks you likely bent a few valves

    Yes sir, they sell one for the 2.0t as well, but it’s a bit tricky. I’ll be making a video soon for that one as well. Got a install next week for one.

    So your oem oil temp sensor that’s inside the car wouldn’t work if you install this?

  • @ProdigePerformance

    @ProdigePerformance

    No clue where you got that from but your gauge will still work. But I recommend getting something a more accurate gauge down the road. Wouldn’t rely on that Hyundai trash gauge that works half of the time lol

    @@ProdigePerformance I thought the oem wasn’t going to work because this was aftermarket, you were mentioning that the sandwich plate had plugs for a temperature sensor and I thought that the oem oil temp wouldn’t read but thank you for clarifying. How has it held up so far?

    @@axelG777 I’ve installed 17 kits and so far non of them have had any issues besides 1. They provide you a o ring for the AN fittings but I strongly recommend adding teflon as well because those o rings wear pretty fast

    10x better and cheaper Ive replaced Shitimoto ones half of the time. they like to break on the bottom part of the cooler where it’s welded and the fittings are always a hit or miss. I’ve installed 10 Of these and non of them have had issues
