For years, drill music has featured stammering drums and smooth 808’s. Whether it’s Chicago, London, or even Brooklyn style - they all tend to share the same characteristics. But now there’s a new drill sound that’s shaking it all up. This new genre is sometimes called “sample drill” and it’s rising up from a totally different New York City borough - the Bronx.
