taking into account the quality of the preamp and converter, between iox digigrid and stagegrid 4000, which would you choose?

DiGiGrid if you're doing studio work. However, for live, get the Stagegrid. Out of your two options, it's the only one suitable for live. The IOX does not have sufficient cooling.

Does this have the same preamp as the 2412? Who did waves partner with for this one?

For what? The XR18 is an entirely separate system.

@@JoshVoyles Hi Josh, thanx for your response… Yes you are correct… But it can be used as your i/o … The xr18 features both XLR’s and 1/4” across the board, separate from the headphone jacks… But I’m looking at your other video at the moment “Mixing Waves on Microsoft Surface Pro” Wow… I’d love to do that!! Right now I use tge xr18 with my laptop computer using the plugins that come with it… But Im in the process of changing over to the lv1 system …. I have a two piece vocal setup and would love to use my waves plugins on a live gig… So my needs are Basic… I guess the DAPRO 1000 with the server would do and either the surface or laptop computer? Id be grateful for any info 🙏

There’s no 1/4” jacks?? Very poor for such an expensive unit!?… I use the XR18 which has everything and it’s only a quarter the price

Professional live IO devices do not typically feature 1/4" jacks unless you're talking about the two headphone jacks. The XR18 is an entirely different product, but it sounds like you have a tool that meets your needs.
