any recommendations for a small powerful amp to put in a motorcycle? appreciate any responses, thanks!

Planning to buy this. I have an Alpine system thst came with my car. I want to plug this directly to the Alpine head so when i turn on the igniti9n this also turn on and when i shut off the igniti9n, thisnalso shuts off. Hopefully that should work right? I dont have an amp. Just the basic head unit and 2 speakers, front and rear each.

Hey I have the same Bluetooth receiver trying to install and I noticed that the Bluetooth receiver will only power on if I connect the remote wire to the hot wire (the red led light will come on) also when I try to connect it called “LEDBLE-00-1409” and when I connect to it (confirmed connected) my phone plays music out of its speakers instead of through Bluetooth

I'm not sure if this has been asked and answered. I'm going to use a 'headless' stereo set-up in a classic car. I'm going to have a 5 channel amp, a sub, 2 6x9s, and two 5.25 speakers. My question is...Would I run power from the battery to the sub, run the blue wire from the BT receiver to the 'remote' in the sub and then run the red wire to the ignition on the car? Could I pigtail the yellow wire to the #4 power wire coming from the battery for the amp? Would this impact the amps ability to turn on when the receiver is connected via bluetooth? Would it create a battery drain? I feel pretty confident about the rest of the wiring, I'm just not sure about the BT connectivity. Thanks

That will work blue wire goes to remote on the amp. Yellow 12 v hot all the time. and the red goes to key on 12v black to ground i use one in my 74 f100 truck and a 4 channel amp.

Great video. I bought this for my boat that already has a good marine stereo head unit. I want to use this DC18 to add Blue Tooth streaming to my system. How do I wire it into my existing stereo head unit. Do I need an additional power amp wired to the same speakers and run it separately. Thanks for the video.

This unit is for when you don't have a main head unit.. in this case you probably should have bought a fm / bt transmitter. If your existing headhunt has a line in (AUX in) you could use this in that case.

So every time you hit pause or play you have to go without bass for 3-4 seconds for your amp to come back on? That sounds like a issue not a good feature.

thats the way its designed and its not really just for Subwoofers its for full range audio systems.

If I’m hooking this up to a toggle switch, what size fuse would I need for that?

For some reason my Bluetooth stayed on without the red wire hooked up to anything. I was confused. Does the Bluetooth turn off on its own?

Ok sk why is my amplifier nkt turning off i have it wored the same as yours and itnwont tur. Off

So do i still need to have my amp powered to the battery as well? Amd the ground grounded? Or is this bt reciever powering and grounding my amp as well?

the amp will need it own power source and ground. only the remote turn on wire from amp will connect to the BT-TWO

I just ordered this on Amazon… so if it automatically shuts the amp off, why would a switch or ignition connection be necessary? Just asking

well this unit will stay powered on and put drain on the battery it connected to if you don't switch it off.

Can i cnnect it to the peackers directly without amplifier on my motorcycle?

If you let it sit for a long time without running truck it will just connect the red wire to a switched source or toggle

I did not end up using it as a stereo on my ATV but more as a portable Bluetooth speaker....... I changed my mind gonna get in helmet audio for riding.

What if I have more than two speakers how would I do the ac jacks

buy a 4 channel amp and get a y splitter cable for the rca connections.

You can get this and connect it to a dsp or a equalizer as well.

I just got this receiver and Ds slashers amp and horns for my road KING... So I can hook up the receiver directly into the amp I don't have to hook it up to anything else
