DS 20 New Vertical Milling Head (Part 2)

Ғылым және технология

The second part of this overly long video covering some of the work to complete the changes to the Horizontal drive spindle for my home made Vertical Milling head for my Tom Senior Milling Machine.
This section covers the boring out of the material for the locking nut, screw cutting (backwards!!) a 20 TPI 20mm thread and parting the piece off on the lathe, then a quick overview of where this sits in the construction of the Milling head itself.

Many thanks - yes it's a lovely piece of kit - but I'm working it to it's absolute limits of travel on this little job!
