It's amazing how H's voice is still so powerful and clean after all those years. I've seen Marillion live 3 times and watched countless videos and it never fails to daze me. Absolutely incredible band!

seen them live with this tour. Hogarts voice is tremendous even Rothery smiles of exciting. And then that excellent rhythm section. Super pro....Creme de la creme...

If I had to choose one live song to listen to for the rest of my life, this would be it; that's how much I love it. Wow!😢

I just love Rothery’s look over at H towards the end - that smile says it all. What a band.

I noticed Mark's singing along with h. When someone puts out a vocal performance like that you can't help but want to join in. The smile from Steve Rothery when he looks over is pretty telling too.

Marilion is the love of my life... so good memories

There's talented, then there's Marillion. To me, the sign of a good song is that it makes you want to sing along, you can't help yourself. EVERY Marillion song does this for me.

Steven Hogarth has taken marrilion to a place beyond expectations. Yes,i love old marrilion,but i love new marrilion even more. This band was performing these songs way ahead of their time. Outstanding.

Steves vocals are superb. Does not get the recognition he deserves.

Brilliant guitar solo

Bloody amazing vocals.

Great performance from all the band. Every time Steve R knocks out a guitar solo it's magical. I love the way he plays with so much feel and emotion. A true legend.

Words fail to describe the emotions this song evokes pure brilliance and magic!

Every Marillion song I listen to makes me believe that everything will turn out spectacularly well. I am lifted to a place I cannot describe.

That solo has been playing in my brain as a loop for decades now and still love it as the first day i heard it. Thank you Steve for your magic!

Have listened to Marillion so many times and have loved every minute of it.

This is one of my favourite songs from their. Excellent ballad!

Originally written for H previous band How We Live, and an excellent album highly recommended. I was fortunate enough to see HWL as a support band at the Manchester Apollo in November 1988, Steve R guitar work is the only change.

I first saw H perform this song when How we live supported Chris de Burgh at the N.E.C in 1987. It blew me away as a 17 year old kid and it still does to this day. H and Marillion ...... music that stays with u for life..

My fondest memory of this song was at H's 50th birthday party gig at Highbury Garage. I was working in Belgium at the time and my late wife and I came over on Eurostar for the show. There was no way I was going to miss this particular gig, no matter what. She was ambivalent, to put it politely and wasnt a fan. Suffice it to say, moments after coming on stage in that white suit, what does he go into pretty much as soon as he sits down? Straight into Dry Land... just him and the piano. I f'in loved it. By the time he'd got to the opening chorus, I'd pretty much melted on the spot. By the end of it, her chin was on the floor and to say I felt vindicated was putting it politely :-)

paul phipps It was Seasons End that sucked me into Hogarth Marillion. Just after I graduated college, I dear cohort of mine brought over Seasons End for me at the same time, I had just started seeing an old man-friend of mine again who was a very talented musician. So I tried to push Hogarth Marillion on him and many others who weren’t aware of the Marillion personnel change.
