Dry Ice Blasting: How it works and the CLEANING PROCESS
Dry ice is actually carbon dioxide that has been cooled to -79°C. It's the same gas that we breathe out and that plants use to make food. It's cheap, doesn't catch fire, and is easy to store when it's in liquid form. Since dry ice pellets are very soft, they don't scratch or wear away surfaces. So, it is the perfect way to clean metal surfaces without hurting them. Dry ice blaster and sand blaster should be complementary . Dry ice blasting is widely used, but it doesn't replace the 100% rust removal capability of a sandblaster .
Can I use this machine instead of sand blasting?

Yes. but the machines are very expensive
It's not sealed in airtight containers. The CO2 needs to vent out as it sublimates
