Absolutely, it's why I keep coming back to these videos. I've never had a fish take a dry fly for me, so this is already a fascinating video for me. I only use dry flies right now to rig up dry dropper rigs. The only fly that gets bitten is the dropper and I really want to change that.
Fantastic episode. I really enjoyed it. I learned a lot here. Thank you very much. I love this channel.
Thank you

Another outstanding demonstration. Are dry fly's present all year round or are they summer/spring present more often?

Yes they are usually in spring summer BUT, there are some mayflies and other insects that hatch year round - like Blue Wing Olive mayflies. Here is another video that explains that: kzread.info/dash/bejne/o4F3r5munMm6fM4.html

@@newflyfisher brilliant. Thank you
Thanks for another great video. I'm new to the fly. Such a buzz catching on a dry. I find lots of fish feeding on the surface in slower water the other side of a current seam. I get too much drag even with high sticking as the water is too deep to get close enough. Any tips there? I look forward to your next video! Thanks again

The key options are to: make large upstream mends to give your flies more time in the feeding zone or move upstream a bit and make cast slightly downstream (reach cast) to give you a better drift longer. Could video to watch about this is: kzread.info/dash/bejne/rHWVlLOzprnFiNo.html or this one too: kzread.info/dash/bejne/n2dr19yfZ8a8iaQ.html

Boring, too much talking and not enough demonstrating.
