The entire solar system back and forth.
I guarantee you that most of these commenters do not go in the KZread comment section of bands led by male performers and say, "HEY SOMEBODY ALREADY PLAYED A PUNK SONG LIKE THIS! NOTHING NEW! I'VE HEARD MUSIC THAT SOUNDS LIKE THIS BEFORE!!" Calm down you dork wads. This band rules. Deal with it.
My new favourite band.

So many great one liners on this record
I can't believe people are slating the singer. It all ties in for me. The guitar leads the way and the singer rolls along with it. I love this band and I'm really fussy with music. The guitar work is sublime.

I've never heard anyone slating the singer. Where is this happening?
This is what I've been looking for for years. Def my new fave!
the guitar parts are so good !
Their music makes me want to write stuff. Utterly bewitching. I think of other groups and then just don't. These are enough.
Holy crap, this had me at the first second of the first track.
It's a great album.

Listen to the 90s band Linoleum from the 90s. Listen to their single On A Tuesday to see that this band is a total rip off of them

More like Kim Gordon from Sonic Youth to me. The whole band sounds like Sonic Youth to me... Well one aspect of Sonic Youth anyway. They can sound a bunch of different ways.

@@neondemon7617 I don't hear that. For a start Morrissey sang his lyrics, he didn't intone them, and his lyrics made sense, they weren't surrealist/dada cut ups. Marrs playing was melodic not spiky, and Rourke's bass was complex. This is a great band, but if you want a comparison think the Fall and Gang of Four.

you mix a good dose of the first cures, siouxsie, cocteau twins, and all that came out `` good '' under the name post punk / new wave, late 70's early 80's, so nothing new to the 'horizon ,sorry fot the young generations ....

Omg nothing new here listen to the band Linoleum, any song but may I recommend On A Tuesday from the album Dissent 1997. This band especially the vocal is a total rip off and they just hoped you either forgot or didn't know Linoleum
@arkistratemedia6041

Dunno, this is much better than that.
@georgeharrison5753

Nah, spoken word vocals aren't something Linoleum invented. This is also more on the post-punk side, that Linoleum band is more alternative/grungy. Lastly, the lyrics here are miles better. I think a more potent comparison is Sonic Youth with Kim Gordon on vocals.

I do like that you came to knock a band for being "nothing new" and did so by citing a band that just ripped off a bunch of other bands. Not dissing Linoleum, but original they ain't; they were just hoping you either forgot or didn't know (the much better) The Au Pairs, who were just hoping you either forgot or didn't know (the even better) Gang of Four.
Hardly anything new...

"Fuck up" are the last words of this song and that's just what you did when you chose the singer. I'm sorry, but I like the sound of the guitars, but I can't unhear the vocalist, because my ears are nearly bleeding. I'm terribly sorry. 😟 😧
