I tried making these potatoes for the first time because I do not like the other canned potatoes. I will let you know at the end my thoughts. and whether I will try them again.

More about the meat-pie please! We make a meatpie with ground beef and ground pork, onions and cinnamon, cloves seasoning and another that are like cornish pasties. Would love to know about your meat pie🎉

I love dry canned potatoes! With just 2 of us in the house i make them in much smaller jars, recycled jam jars, sluced for pan frying, and no peeling! Thanks for your video

Ive never tryed it but we do mashed hash brown in waffle maker it dont last long even if l try to freeze them😊 awesome have to watch more of your vidz ❤❤❤

I'm going to do a small batch of these today. We always have bolted potatoes because I can't store them well. I am hoping this will work for me as I have seen alot of people canning potatoes.

Without water to conduct the heat I wouldn’t think the middle of the potatoes would be hot enough to kill botulism which is 240 degrees. steam and water bath canning can’t get above 212 which is fine for high acid foods but potatoes are low acid

These were pressure canned, so considered safe for low-acid foods.
I don’t eat a lot of potatoes, so having them canned suits me. My agria spuds in water are lovely fried, but I’ve been keen to try dry canning them. I think I’ll give it a go. I might try chopping them ‘chip’ shaped😀

Thank you for watching! I am going to start trying to make the ultimate frozen roasted potatoes and I'm not sad about trying them all hahaha I hadn't intended on filming the bacon and egg pie but if you would like it I will.

The one video said dry canning is what you do in the oven with beans and dry stuff. Potatoes is considered dry packing. Just letting you know what I learned who knew. Thank you Others fill to the top just don't let it interfer with the lid.

I'm a potato girl too. I just can't get into canned potatos. We do like frozen hash Browns (small dice or shredded potatos) in the morning but not enough to buy them more than 2 or 3 times a year.

Can not see the point of canning potatoes. They are not expensive, are freely available all year and keep well with dirt on in a dry dark place. Canning them only makes them more expensive. A bit old fashioned but my grandparents back in Europe simply buried them in sand along with other root vegetables, in the cellar. I do par cook them and freeze them in small quantities as a quick meal starter.

I wanted to try them as I didn't enjoy the ones with water. I haven't done them since as I just wasn't a fan. I love potatoes and Love my frozen roasted ones the best. I like to buy when they are cheaper and save some money.
