You shouldn’t straighten your hair soaking wet. It’s so much unnessary damage. Get it 80 percent dry either naturally or a rough blow dry first. You get better results and less damage.

Sis...I did the same thing! Big head gang! I refused to big chop my hair and let my hair grow out for three years before I cut it. I had no regrets. I primarily washed and deep conditioned my hair weekly and kept heat off my hair while keeping my hair in a bun. Keep doing what works best for you! So excited for you on your journey!

I have a huge head and I big chopped. I will say it took like a week to get used to but I definitely made it cute with bright lipstick and fun earrings. To each is own for sure, but for me I had to cut it off cause if I didn't I just would've kept straightening it until it fell off😂

I have the conair version of this. If you roll the dryer back up to the base once you get to the ends, you won’t have to keep lifting the dryer back up and it comes out smoother and straighter. But it will never replace a flat iron for curly girls.

Hot tools has bristles closer together which is better for smoothing tighter curls. I have 3b/3c hair past waist so I can’t play around😄. There is one called volu-Lux and it finally quit on me after two years of beast mode. The revlon styler is $25. Wonder how it compares. I may get that one or the hot tools.

Babyliss makes a curling iron bush The brush part is slightly smaller, but it does rotate. I bought the hot tools one about three years ago and love it I have some of those curling irons just got a new one after about 15 years. I’ve heard very good things about Drybar. Also since I already had hot tool I thought I would try it. It’s definitely cheaper. That works well for me. Thanks so much for the video.

I have the purple one but its from Revlon and it's $60 and I use it on the low setting and it works GREAT!!! BEST one I have ever bought. But I wrap my hair all the way to the top for a few seconds, then I just go up and down with the hair wrapped on the brush.... like if it turning on it own, and it comes out straight and smooth and no need for the flat iron!
