Thank God, I’ve been searching for a Black woman comparing these two dryers. Watching those other reviews were absolutely pointless. Thank you ❤️
You shouldn’t straighten your hair soaking wet. It’s so much unnessary damage. Get it 80 percent dry either naturally or a rough blow dry first. You get better results and less damage.
Sis...I did the same thing! Big head gang! I refused to big chop my hair and let my hair grow out for three years before I cut it. I had no regrets. I primarily washed and deep conditioned my hair weekly and kept heat off my hair while keeping my hair in a bun. Keep doing what works best for you! So excited for you on your journey!

I have a huge head and I big chopped. I will say it took like a week to get used to but I definitely made it cute with bright lipstick and fun earrings. To each is own for sure, but for me I had to cut it off cause if I didn't I just would've kept straightening it until it fell off😂
What lip color are you wearing? I NEED IT!!!!
Thank you for this video! I've passed these tools a million times at my current job but always thought they were for a certain hair group. Still not sure if it'll work for me, but I'm excited it did for you! There is one that rotates but I was told it's not as user friendly...
So glad you’re back to posting! I missed your videos
The purple one looks like it takes way to long to get your hair dry. The yellow seems like it blows more hair to get it dry faster
Queen is back with another great video 💜
I’m so excited for your curly hair journey!!!!!! 🤗🤗 Love you !!!!
Different textures and all, your hair is gorgeous! I wish mine was that thick but both my parents have fine hair so I got it too.
Damp hair is best to blow dry. Too dry or too wet is a no go for moisture loss and breakage. Great straightening effect!
The fact that your hair was not wet when you did this is amazing! You are gonna have a lot of fun playing with your natural hair once you get your different styling routines down.
Yes I love your hair videos! Especially when you do blow out cuz you have soo much volume 😍😍
Always wanted to try that product, I have lots of thick hair might take me a bit longer to do but worth a try. Thank you for your review and try out.
I have the conair version of this. If you roll the dryer back up to the base once you get to the ends, you won’t have to keep lifting the dryer back up and it comes out smoother and straighter. But it will never replace a flat iron for curly girls.
Conair has the one that rotates! It was my jam when I straightened my hair.
Your hair is beautiful just like you don’t let nobody pressure you into doing what they think is right for you
Yes girl more hair care products. 🥰
Beautiful hair!
The revlon one is really good too! And maybe a little cheaper then the hot tools one.
What 👏🏾is 👏🏾that👏🏾lip color👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Love this so much babes. I have followed you for about 6 years now and I have always thought you are beautiful ( I say this because I watched a video where you talk about weight and all that) I thought I'd encourage you and say you are beautiful, not I'll and you are a work in progress. Meanwhile I love the makeup look too...a tutorial if you can🙌🏾 otherwise happy women's Day 💐💐
Welcome back :) missed you!
Very helpful thanks, super detailed and to the point! I enjoy watching
Glad you got your grove back chica miss you
I would have loved this tool back when I use to wear my hair straight. I look forward to more comparisons.

I dont know which lipstick she uses but one that looks like that is mac relentlessly red😊
Hot tools has bristles closer together which is better for smoothing tighter curls. I have 3b/3c hair past waist so I can’t play around😄. There is one called volu-Lux and it finally quit on me after two years of beast mode. The revlon styler is $25. Wonder how it compares. I may get that one or the hot tools.
Love your hair!!!!!
Babyliss makes a curling iron bush The brush part is slightly smaller, but it does rotate. I bought the hot tools one about three years ago and love it I have some of those curling irons just got a new one after about 15 years. I’ve heard very good things about Drybar. Also since I already had hot tool I thought I would try it. It’s definitely cheaper. That works well for me. Thanks so much for the video.
I feel like you’re moving the brush too fast. Go slower and really take your time working through the hair.
I have the purple one but its from Revlon and it's $60 and I use it on the low setting and it works GREAT!!! BEST one I have ever bought. But I wrap my hair all the way to the top for a few seconds, then I just go up and down with the hair wrapped on the brush.... like if it turning on it own, and it comes out straight and smooth and no need for the flat iron!

I know this is a hair tool video, but I just had to tell you that your lipstick color looks so vibrant and lively on you. I love it!!
♥️♥️ Yo pase por la misma transición con mi cabellooo, pero ahora mis rizos están muchoooo mejor, y la herramienta me encanta haría más fácil secar mi cabello y ljcirsl liso. Besos desde Nicaragua 🇳🇮

I think you would like the Revlon one step. I think it performs better than both of those plus it's cheaper. Thanks for the comparison though.
It looks good on both sides. My question would be long term, which one would cause less damage to the hair? The Hot tools one seems to get much hotter than the Dry bar one...I'm trying to decide between these exact 2 so I'm SOOOO glad You had this video!!!!! I think I may go with the Dry Bar, just because I thing it will be better for my hair in the long run!

Which one did you end up buying? And which one you recommend? I am in the same situation, trying to decide between these two. Would love to get your opinion. Thanks.

@@sobiaali5847 i ended up with the dry bar one. I used it A LOT! But I honestly wouldn’t pie jefe that one again…I don’t feel like it damaged my hair in terms of the heat, but I have long hair and it gets caught in the top part…I’m not sure which one I’ll get next…🤷🏽♀️
You are so beautiful inside and out, personality is so likable I want to see you in your own show or be part of one!!!
I would love to see if it works with tighter curls and see how it works
im living for that lip color on you
Does the hot tool get as hot as the revlon? That is the only reason I’m thinking about getting the dry bar, it doesn’t get as hot.
love this, I just ordered the Revlon one bc it's the only one available where I live, Question what do you do for your allergy lol? my allergy has the same reaction as yours (swollen nose from the inside which makes me not being able to breathe from other than my mouth) 💙🙏
I use the paddle brush blow dryer. My hands and wrist hurt with the traditional blow dryers and round brush blowdryers. Sn: Her hair is THICK! 😳😍
I have the Karmin G3 Dryer and love it. ❤
The song is Speed It Up by Gunna. Haha I love it. This video was so relaxing. My hair is pin straight but does get weirdly wavy if I don’t straighten I have to try this out. Amazing review!
You should definitely think about trying the Dyson hair range. Less heat damage on your hair x
i feel you can try braidouts or flexi rod outs on your transitioning hair to experiment with some curly styles. it looks like some of your relaxed hair still has a curl so it would look really good with a braidout or flexi rod out (they would give a consistent curl from root to end). i remember your first hair video, you've come a long way!
Will you bring that makeup looks through...💕
Have u tried from revlon?
Will this work on 4c hair? All blow dryers straighten 3b hair.
You have such nice hair
Have you changed your air filters? Also try using a humidifier for your allergy symptoms.

@@AliyahTheDoll She actually needs to stop straightening her hair because it’s clearly heat damaged. People think just because you put a “heat damage protectant” over your hair that you still aren’t damaging it when in fact, you still are

Yes, please tell us about your lipstick 🙏🏻
same thing with me, Girlie! I had terrible allergies as a kid, then I moved down the shore, right near the beach, and they went away. I think it has to do with the salt air, and the pollution isnt as bad. Now, years later, I live back near the city, and viola - they are back, but with a vengeance! Ugh...
I like the fact the dry bar uses less heat and still can straightened your hair as if you used more heat
My hair is half and half too, I don’t wanna do the big chop either. I thought about it but I came too far and I love a good slick low bun honey 😂🤷🏽♀️
Use Olapex 3, it repaired my hair. Tengo el mismo pelo y me ayudado mucho
Was there a difference in the drying time?
I grew my hair out without big chopping. I just cut my ends every time I washed it. But to be honest my natural hair texture is not that different from my relaxed texture. I was only getting a relaxer 1-2 times per year.

Me too! My hair use to be so damaged due to excessive heat and hair dye. All I did was cut a little off at a time. I keep it at tail bone length now. I think people are being a little too dramatic about this big chopping thing!
There’s a smaller one from conair which I own that one. It’s ok and it does work. Only thing is that it doesn’t get hot hot like I want it and need it to be. But it does work. It has 2 detachable brush like barrels which is nice. I wish it had a cold setting so I could use it to dry my makeup🤣🤣🤣 but it’s only 1 heat setting and Lo & high
Hunny, the lip color😍😍 What is it?
So I just tried the hot tools 24 k. I have 3b curly hair. My hair looks like a big puff ball. And I used Paul Mitchell foaming pomade with it. It also took me over an hour. My hair still is not all the way dry. No curl whatsoever at the bottom. And my hair looks jus like when I blow dry it with a regular dryer with a comb attachment. Bothered.
Sis got 3a/3b/3c hair 😂. I love you baby girl.
Can you tell us what happen to drybar after a year? Is it worth it or a good investment?
Personally i feel like hot tools looks way better than the dry bar !

I appreciate the links, but I’d be afraid to buy these type of tools from amazon. 😥

Sis it needs to be damp hair also needs to be used away from the face.
Thank you actually helped a lot. It’s good to see a black girl do this thank you. I do wish I saw it I really wet here, however knowing that they both do the same job in one gets hotter it makes my decision easier to get the cooler one that does the same job. Then I feel like I’m going to protect my hair more with less heat.
Hi from puerto rico 🇵🇷
Excellent video! The song is “Speed It Up” by Gunna.
Fellow big head here! No like really, I have to buy special hats. Don’t be scared to big chop. I did it and the fro phase can be really cute. You just have to find the right cut for your face.
Try the revlon one !!
What is that beautiful lip color?!

Have you heard of L'ANGE they have the same kind of bush but a lot of review said is good🧐
Instead of doing a big chop why not do what afriend of minds did, who is a part of "big head gang." She got her ends trimmed every 6-8 weeks for 2 or 3 years while she was going natural. She still keeps up this routine, her hair is growing strong & healthy 💕
The dry bar seem to do it much faster than the lower price one. The hot tools purple one seems to take more effort. Your hair looks beautiful.
It'll grow and then do what you feel best. The big chop is great if your hair isn't thick and voluminous. It's looking nice, that in between stage is the worst!!!
The “Hot Tools” brush looks like the Revlon One-Step Dryer and the link in the description box is also for the Revlon brush 🤔 **edit** It’s actually Hot Shot Tools One Step Brush which is basically the same company as Hot Tools. But Hot Tools also has a One Step Blowout brush. Are they all just the same brush with different prices? Lol
If your hair is wet it works better and faster!

Cutest nose 🤍
I have thr one from Revlon and it's by far my favorite out of all 3!!!
I think the cheaper model on the left did a better job but the look is nice either way. I do think it’s tooooo harsh on your hair the way it’s twisted in those rings. I believer a regular straightener would do a better job. You have beautiful beautiful hair perm or not perm. Im not impressed with this tool not at all. As stated in this video comments, I too love ❤️ your lipstick and makeup. What makeup foundation, powder, lipsticks, liner, did you use in this video? Thank you 🙏
