I understand the reasons for these trips and I’m so happy for you that you got to experience it. However trips like this totally put me off a brand, the absolute extravagance and cost of these trips to already expensive brands who need no advertising does the exact opposite making me want to buy from them.

I’m actually quite surprised at Drunk Elephant for doing this. I know brand trips were all the rage a few years back but I honestly thought brands had copped on and read the room a bit… and being honest, I know for a fact if I were offered such a gorgeous trip, I realistically wouldn’t turn it down.

Drunk Elephant is my favorite skin care brand of all time. All of my skin care and shampoo comes from the brand. I heard about them years ago when I watched one of Jamie’s videos. I also heard about Lumify eye drops in one of her videos. Jamie is seriously the only influencer I trust.

EDGEWOOD IS MAGIC. Literally those most lovely. You don’t even have to leave if you don’t want to. The food on location is unreal. We went in the winter too and it was like being on another planet. If you don’t take her word for it, take mine 😂

They made really rude and frankly misogynistic comments about a well known brand owner and influencer Caroline Hirons. There are also numerous examples of the brand being very rude and dismissive to customers posting comments about experiences they had with products. They would always say any adverse reaction was due to other products a customer was using. There was an issue around their workforce diversity, after they promoted BLM campaigns. They are also a key promoter of 'clean' beauty misinformation and deceptive marketing tactics. I've probably missed something. There's lots of content online that will probably be more succinct than my reply! I don't buy from them, and many people don't for these reasons.@@lalacarroll431
