The aesthetician who recommended it to me recommended that I use it every 2 days because it’ll stay in my skin for 72 hours and wait for and hour for it to dry before applying a moisturizer and then spf and use a mineral spf with zinc oxide because it’ll act as a physical barrier against sun damage aka acne scars because your body produces melanin as a protector

Yes you can do that too. The first time I used this, I wanted to follow their instructions. Once I got used to it, I now make my own adjustments on how and when to use it. Most mornings I don't have time to wait a full hour to let things sink in. Dermatologists say that most skin care take about 20/30 mins to be fully absorbed. Hope this helped!

Disco Deoxys yes you do if you don’t wait until it dries down and sinks in (one hour) before you apply your moisturizer you will dilute the product and be wasting your money

Mucinex Pm, I don’t really think it would dilute the product. Plus it doesn’t take a full hour to dry. I have the same serum and it dries within a couple minutes. Plus how would the product be diluted if the same AMOUNT of product is still on your face?

hi there what do you mean by "carrier oil"? what is one that you recommend to use thank you. :) I just bought this serum and I'm excited to use, I want to use it the right way.

Hey! A carrier oil is any face oil to use with the serum to help spread the product more evenly. I personally use the Ordinary Rose Hip Seed oil and the Biosance Squalane oil. Both are good! I created a 5 month update on this product talking about some tips, what I learned for using this for that long and answering some questions about it. I recommend taking a look if you still have some questions or a little skeptical on using it. Hope this helped! :)

Hey thanks for the video! I just started last week, and same as u, I have never used Vc product before, got bad breakout and thought about returning. Now I guess I will use it for a month and see :)

Do you use it in the day and do you apply sun screen after ?I have some acne scars it’s actually dark spots i get acne every month due my period ! I really want. To buy it because I’ve seen great reviews and I’m tired of covering all the time with makeup 😭

Yes, I use it during the day and I ALWAYS apply sunscreen as my last step to my morning skin care routine. Although, if your main goal is to get rid of dark spots from acne, I suggest trying out a good chemical exfoliating product cuz GIRL SAME! I used to get terrible acne from that time of the month and still get a lot of breakouts but not as bad. I suggest watching the video I just put out "how to change your skin with 2 steps" because I show and talk about how I cleared up a lot of my post acne marks in just over 3 months using the 2 methods. I feel your pain with always feeling the need to cover up. 3 months ago I could never walk outside without full coverage makeup. Now I don't always wear makeup and when I do, it's only light! Wishing you luck on your skin journey!

if it sits comfortably on your skin then absolutely! vitamin c is great for that.

Does it give u a brightening and glowing skin.. im. looking for brightening... my skin is super oily too.. is this oily

It helped to brighten my skin from the post acne marks the longer I used it. I wouldn't say that its an oily product. :)

yes I did! not sure if you saw from week 2 to the end, the dullness went away a bit in that short period of time. glad you found it helpful!!

How can you keep using a product when it clearly gave you breakouts. I stopped using a Vit C serum after it caused comedos on my face. I couldn't stand it 😣

I kept using it after the purging to give it a full chance. Even though it broke me out for about 2 weeks, the healing time was quick. I'm still using this product as of today since I posted this video and I think its a really good vit. C and it doesn't irritate or make me breakout anymore. The main reason I broke out form this is because I didn't build my tolerance. (btw, love ur prof pic lol)

@@EleinaHinch awww that's nice. Right now I'm back to using my aesthetician's prescription after I tried out skincare products on my face and caused it to have breakouts. My aesthetician only focused on my acnes and hyper pigmentations. That's why I'm thinking of giving my skin some nutrition myself. (Thanks 😁)

Ive always had constant acne that flares up every cycle and stays there until it heals! but the first time using it I think it aggravated my skin because it wasn't used to its strength.

@@EleinaHinch hi sweets, i watch ALOT of gothamista utube channel.. check out sokoglam channel on the triple C ($27) also.. ive been using it for a few weeks, it stings mildly.. however i DONT think using triple C would have given you the outstanding results like u did w d.elephant. to me d.e. seems more legit if you are serious about RESULTS - FASTER!!! have fun indulging feel-good reviews on doing your research!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used the ordinary resveritol and oil of olay vit c moisturizer with it and it did great!

Is the first time you were using vitamin C?

yes! Vitamin C is suppose to help speed up your skins shedding process (cellular turn over) which will help shed off that hyperpigmentation.

Is it important to mix C firma with any other product or we can wear directly without mixing it
