I'd say I've never done this RL, but I'd be a damned dirty liar. Back more than 20 years ago when I was an 18 year old and actually drank, there used to be one cat that would wait for me to walk home from the pub just so she could waylay me for another 20 minutes getting stupid inane drunken praise and all the clumsy drunken scritches and strokes she could tolerate.

A little sad and wholesome story: I’ve never seen that cat in this game before while my cat Cletus was alive. When he passed a few months ago I played rdr2 and I saw this cat on the day he died. Its like he came back because that cat looks exactly like him. R.I.P. Cletus

the first time i got VERY drunk, my dad brought me home. the moment that i stepped into the house, my parents waiting to take me to bed, i literally saw my cat and just immediately stumbled to it, falling on the floor next to it in the process.

I’m convinced they just put a cat in the recording studio with Roger Clark (Arthur’s actor), and had him interact with it.

Seeing a cat for the first time in this game was a treat. There are so few scattered around the map. Absolutely not necessary to add but Rockstar did anyway. rdr2 proves modern games can still be masterpieces.

As someone that owns a Two Cats i can confirm they take care of the Pest problems one of the Lizards was trying to sell Car Insurance and didn't live to tell the story about it 😢

rockstar missed the opportunity to allow players to scold the cat, however if you do the cat gets mad and attacks. this would be an inevitable death as the cat continuously claws at arthur’s face while he writhes in pain

My cats have mixed feelings when I'm drunk. They like how chill it makes me, but are saddened when I'm sick the next day.

My Sweet Old Girl Cleopatra passed away on the 16th of this month from Cancer.... This scene is bitter sweet to me since I said pretty much the same things to her when she was here.... I loved playing as Authur his personality fit Me and its a shame when he dies.... The game just isnt the same to me when hes gone. Its also a shame that you cant pet cats and over time petting them enough gain their trust enough to pick them up. Such a missed opportunity.
