The fans were shouting "Yid Army", this is from Wiki on why they shout it: In the case of Tottenham Hotspur, rival fans chanted antisemitic abuse including 'Yids' against Tottenham fans. In response some Jewish and non-Jewish fans of Tottenham Hotspur F.C. adopted "Yid" (or "Yiddo") as a nickname and "Yiddo, Yiddo!" as a battle cry and often identify themselves as "Yid Army".

As others have rightly said, American Football is actually a 1 hour game stretched to 4 hours, in order for to commercials and for the fans to eat, drink and do everything else other than actually watch the sport itself. Also, how many of your Football players play for the whole game with only a 15 minute break? Football (soccer) players are among the fittest pro athletes on the planet.

Always wanted to go see a game in England. Maybe one day. I used to watch this youtube series where a guy went to a lower tier league and if the team he was supporting won he would essentially "promote" himself to higher league. In some of those lower leagues you can drink beer it seems, but the higher up you go in the pyramid the more restrictions. I still really liked the baseball game in Japan though. Being able to drink in the stadium and the beer girls. Looked like a blast.

Great vid. Love watching the reactions of Americans watching football for the first time. But working it out for yourselves, not having a local Brit tell you what’s going on. Just going for it. Fave travel KZreadr by a long shot.

There _is_ a lot of unhappiness in England. Those poor souls let the whole World know of their suffering, by going to watch Tottenham Hotspur, and yelling four-letter expletives the entire time. So sad.

9:30 Are they chanting Yid Army? They had a sign that said it in that pub at the end.

Yep. It's a chant they've sang for ages. Lots of Tottenham's fans were and still are north-west London Jews, so back in the day used to get hurled constant antisemitic abuse, like the term "Yids". So they did something pretty smart and took it under their wing as a nickname as a way for rival fans to stop chanting it at them, and it worked.

Really enjoyed that video. Loved the banter mate. 90.minutes, bunch of fairies 😂 😂 😂 I've been watching football (soccer) for decades now. Seen loads of fights in my time. Sometimes you can't even get a drink before the game in the pubs, they've been known to be closed due to fights. They'll also kick games off early so the fans don't have time to get too drunk. Glad you enjoyed it. Oh just a tip too, don't ask for anything like that using the number 2 with your fingers, when you asked for the Neck oil. That was round emans fck off, like the middle finger. 😂

I really love watching your travel videos from in far away countries. But as a Dutchie who’s been loving football his whole life this video was funny as hell too. Your American perspective on the sport is hilarious, don’t understand some of the salty comments. If I were to film myself going to an NHL game it probably be the same kind of video of me poking fun at it as the experience grows on me.

Because of the stop start way American football is played they actually run less than a proper football player over a game.
