I’ve used these and they’re pretty much as durable as a normal stick, but yeah using them with an e-kit is more recommended just so they don’t chip and wear out. But yeah they’re super cool and just add a cool effect to your playing.

I had these around 12-15 years ago, they lasted a very long time on an acoustic set, the sticks themselves never broke, but the battery cover did pop up and which of course made the lights stop working. I eventually lost them before I could break them lol. They feel absurdly bouncy on an acoustic kit and you can feel the vibrations in your hand a bit more which makes it uncomfortable to use, but they are definitely cool looking.

I've never seen light up drum sticks before. They look amazing.

I totally agree using them with the e-kit. The drum heads of the acustic drum kit look a little too hard for your new drum sticks because they're not made out of wood like your other ones.

Decent product. Definitely inbetween a gag gift and an actual product. They are WAY too heavy for fast single stroke rolls, hard to control, but the lighting feature is cool. If you are playing simple rock beats with not many fast fills, this would be cool for a show. I haven't really used them all that much.

I have a pair of those sticks and mine change different colors. I have those sticks for about 8 years and I don't use them as much I would never use it on the acoustic drums electric drums and practice pads definitely

A friend of mine interned at Walt Disney World in Orlando roughly sixteen years ago, and she sent me a pair of these as a gift. The only difference was that the sticks said Walt Disney World on them. Idk...The lights eventually went out, but the actual sticks lasted all the way up to about a year ago when I had to toss em out for bein in the way.

I had ones like these for the longest time at the beginning of my Drum stream career. They ended up messing up where the spring that turned on the lights got stuck and I had to dissamble the stick to fix it. Never bought them since.

Sooo cool! Nice vid review.

I think that kind of stick is something that shows people you are a beginner but you have sticks that light up. I have been drumming for 7 years and the only stick I use are the SD1 Generals. They are great sticks and don’t break quickly. I think these light up sticks would be wobbly and harder to use.

I play the drums but do you recommend another instrument I should try to learn?

All you need is drums that light up when you hit them and you'll have yourself a cool looking light show to go with the electronic music.

l have the 13 colors rockstix, I used them on the Rockin'1000 show in 2019 in France during 2 songs. They are great for a short time, they vibrate too much for a 2 hours show.
