This reminds me of a concept I learned when trying to figure out how to compose IDM!!! When I was much worse at writing music, my temptation was to just put notes everywhere and make them go really quickly sometimes because that's what it sounded like IDM did. But, the drums of a typical IDM song are a lot more structured than they sound and a core of repetition actually helps the song sound a lot more cohesive. This is plainly visible with your excellent transcription of the song's drums!!

The song is now stuck in my head because I listened to it on loop for 4½ hours straight to get all the notes right.
