The pain of life, the sorrow of old age, and the pain of illness all come from the fear of death. Even if you are a fairy body, there will be an end, and there will be useless sighs left. The sacred tree (ambrosial arbor) exhibits luxuriant branches and leaves, and hundreds of herbs and flowers grow around the tree. The god fruit which bestows endless form and endless life is indeed hanging on the branches.

It's good to hear Chinese folk music. This particular one seems to be from the Dong ethnic group's music traditions. The Dong ethnic group reside in eastern Guizhou and western Hunan provinces. This particular performance falls into a category called 侗族大歌 translated as "The Dong Chorus." it's a genre of music that is typically performed by a large group of people (usually 8-10, all of the same sex.) The songs are typically about topics such as nature, love, friendship, etc.

Guys, you might only be able to find the translated lyrics for this song. That is because this is a language with no written form. This is the Dong language spoken by the Dong people, which is one of the 56 Chinese ethnic groups. btw, this singing form, the Grand Song of the Dong ethnic group is an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity officially recognized by the United Nations :D

HSR players: Cocolia has the most epic boss music in Star Rail! Mihoyo: Are you sure about that? Hold my beer! And when Yuan was saying "For the Xianzhou" while attacking Phantylia and Imbibitor helping us with his giant water dragon... my heart just was beating even faster. I really don't know how Mihoyo's games are not winning soundtracks awards. They're doing icredible awesome job with it.

I did not really want to say this is the EXACT lyric of the song, but they did write a chinese lyric and invited a scholar for translation(As mentioned in the official video). But i do believe that the actual song does have many other elements. I heard someone said that it uses a classic begining for "Song of cicada” in this song where it's about finding the cicada, but i'm not sure.

As a person who always and I mean ALWAYS has my own music playing over the game, this is a story quest where you having to have the game music on, honestly one of the best tracks hoyo has released. I also recommend reacting to and song in the story quest, “samudrartha” basically Dan hengs theme. Another close runner up in my list😭

@@aldenteh9412 yes. I am aware. I am Chinese. I’m just saying style wise the most mainstream thing similar to this off the top of my head would be demon slayer. Ancient language vocals in the soundtracks kind of thing.

I know there is a such a heavily stereotyped opinion of Chinese based organizations majorly ripping off a lot of other ideas from so many other companies and cultures, but HYV shows that putting forth your original culture in a new meaningful way goes a such a long way to easing people into liking what Chinese culture might have to offer. I was greatly impressed by this song because it was like a dance with death. Very filled with tension, decisiveness, and triumph. I want more of Chinese folk music to take the forefront, even if it isn't quite in the traditional sort of way like it was for this.

Mihoyo has been and is still doing a lot of ripping off, but at the same time they are definitely so very good at making amazing original contents, and showcasing Chinese culture to the world in such an easy-to-access way.

This entire quest I had such a sense of dread and deep seated terror when the boss started I could feel the charcters emotions Just from the music alone Hoyoverse really out did themselves and I'm so excited to see what star rail has for us

Second phase is easily the best for the soundtrack. Second phase starts at that harsh drop off Sami mentioned and ends when the triumph bit starts

prior to the Big Mommy Boss fight.. *ehem* .. , this gave me goosebumps it feels like a 3 phase boss battle in SRW (Super Robot Wars ) .. it gets intense each phase.. and has the epic vibe that made me shed manly tears of awesomeness . love it

This song is amazing af! I can't stop listening to it, it's really hard to hate this song honestly. One of the best songs/osts Hoyomix has ever made. There is another song from Honkai Star Rail's 1.2 update which you will totally enjoy, it also has an MV. It is called Samudrartha, it is also sung by a Chinese singer. Samudrartha is literally the best song of the update and I've been playing the MV on loop this past few days and I just know you'll love the MV and won't be able to stop watching it and listening to the song once you've heard it.

This soundtrack made Wildfire like a coughing baby. I love how it achieved that without rock n roll metal sound. I love this and its my favorite now. This is not even the final boss fight of Xianzhou Luofu and the quality is impeccable

No one really talks about the horn part near the end of the last phase, but it’s so majestic in the back of it all 7:42

Yu peng cheng is the main responsable for the genshin ost along with hoyomix, but for honkai it's hoyomix and other people 🤔, the music it's pretty different it "feels" like there's definitely other team working on it
