In my opinion as a drummer of 63 years Greyson is the best drummer in a long long time. Amazing talent
He's a jazz drummer at heart but he also dabbles in heavy music. He drums for Suicidal Tendencies nowadays.
Greyson is the heir to the Buddy Rich legacy. So technical and so artistic at the same time. If only I could put together a super-combo, it would be Greyson on drums, Jaco Pastorius on bass, Keith Jarrett on piano, John Coltrane on tenor sax, and Miles Davis on trumpet. Thanks for playing this, Colby!
This man SLAMS! I love jazz. People compare him to buddy so much… this man became buddy and more. I respect it man. You HAVE too.

I honestly didn’t care for jazz myself until I saw the movie “Whiplash” starring Miles Teller and J.K. Simmons (2014). Now I incorporate some of the jazz style in my rock/heavy metal band.
