For drummers I really recommend helium. He’s arguably the cleanest and fastest drum beatboxer. Check out his gbb23 round 2 wildcard, that will be awesome for you. Also I don’t think dlow is a former drummer, I guess doing smth for 15+ years means you eventually get really nice with different patterns

hes beatboxed for over 15 yrs. beatboxers at that type of level and practice have developed a very good understanding of music theory with experience alone.

Beatboxing is just drumming with your mouth/vocals etc, so as you learn beatbox it teaches you a lot about drums as well, many don’t have a background in percussion but learn it through beatbox

I've said this before across YT. The top 4 most technical quality beaters I know you will be jaw dropped by is: D-Low, SO-SO, SHOW-GO and LENNARD. SO-SO is a DJ too and makes music with only sounds he recorded from his mouth. LENNARD is arguably 1 of the most technically slayin loopers around today and SHOW-GO's a crafts person with making beatbox music tracks

It's not the amount of hours he put in but fucking years 😂😂 this is only a 10th of his power. Do some reactions of his analysis to the recent GBB's which is the world cup of beat boxing since you seem knowledgeable it's really interesting, just think it's something you might enjoy, you also get to see his judge pov since he was a judge there, it's such a good concept. I reccomend ZVD Florida Beatbox Battle 2024 Solo Wildcard, its so beautiful. And if u wanna react to a battle i would say D-low vs Codfish GBB2018 Final. Also all the GBB Cirlcle jams are cool especially the 2021. Aswell as random freestyles, for example "Wing, Hiss, H-has/ 4 Min Crazy Beatbox Freestyle".

I can't vouch for whether D-Low has drumming exp. but BBX is vocal percussion, the man is a drum kit, synth and anything else you can think of. He's been at at for about 15 years now I think. Think of it like any other super talented musician, he has several instruments mastered, but they are all vocal.
