This is incredible, as a drummer, I can confidently say that most of us stick to “drum driven” songs. Something that at least has some sort of beat in it that is actual drums. This man has just made a cover to Sicko mode, a song that changes paces so quickly and doesn’t even have drums to follow. This man is amazing

Love how this was filmed. Also those extra runs in the song add so much to it! Your choices in each section are so diliberate.
Despite the fact that I'm 23 year old, I've seen many drumers "freestyling" and drumming different genres, including my father's drumming. for me, the best part in music, is drummer's part, especially when He is in his beast mode. this video was uploaded 3 years ago and I just found it, and I'm so F***ING EXCITED. And I'm grateful to KZread, thanks to this app, world is becoming smaller for finding talented people like him. over time, such performances more and more assure me that there is no bad genre or bad music, there are only bad performances, and even if this is a Rap remix and I'm rockman, I fell in love with this drum beat.
I NEED TO HEAR MORE OF HIS DRUM COVERS, THIS IS PERFECTION!

he's technically insane and nearly if not perfect with his chops. I would say that he doesn't vibe with the spirit of the song. Although again, his technical mastery is insane. If you're a drummer and/or listening to this song to geek out about his bass delivery or chops i think you'll be more than satisfied. but if you're like someone who wants a man to drum to music you can dance to or someone who plays like he feels drakes lyrics (not that anyone does this) you'd be like man I can't cause this drummer isn't about that. even though he is an insanely good drummer. And then you'd hit the dislike button because you don't feel like he felt it and probably also jealous of his super chops.

This is the video that inspired me to start playing drums like 3 years ago. I appreciate you dog.
Started learning to play during lockdown last year. You have some insane talent! This video makes me want to keep playing.
If this was the original drumming for the song, the trap game would’ve changed

I'd say 299k likes to 4.4k dislikes is a damn good ratio. You can't really get much better than that on KZread. 4.4k is only 1.5% of 299k. That means 98.5% of people like it.

Because they can’t appreciate the finished product and are probably pissed this isn’t a live recording. Unless he can get that good of a sound out of a camera mic or out of frame overhead but I doubt it. That’s just my guess
I'm glad I'm not the only one who full on JAMS to rap/hip hop songs with double bass.

@@luisfuentes3559 I think it's a broken cymbal (I'm referring to the chipped edges, not the holes since that's a type of cymbal you could buy). I bet he broke it but found the sound still good so he kept it, lmao.

I had a crash with 70% of the rim chipped off and it sounded like natural delay when it wobbled. Or you could tape it closed to get the tightest china sound I've ever heard.

broken cymbal has nothing to do with being pro. i play on broken cymbals all the time. cuz of a certain sound i want. hes most likely sponsored or just has good money so he can buy new cymbals everyday if he wanted. he just chooses to keep that. possibly cuz of the sound because it sounds pretty good
