These things are great. I've been using them a lot lately in my most recent productions.

can I use those sounds for recording my edrum as well? or what do I need? the standard presets aren't so good and all I can find is how to make drums virtually.

yea all you need is a MIDI cable. Connect the MIDI cable from the output of your edrum brain to the MIDI input on your interface and turn on input monitoring on the MIDI track in your DAW. It should work automatically. You may need to change the note mapping on your drum brain so that the pads trigger the correct drum hits.

Zachary Spence ok ty. well I am using the line cable to connect my drumhead with my interface because there is no midi out on my drumset is it still possible? I am using a Yamaha ur44 and a Yamaha set with a dtx502 head. I don't want to bother you but this sh*t is killing me haha

ah I see, it does have a USB port that it says can be used to interface with the computer, so there is still a way to do this. You may need to browse Yamaha's website for drivers to get the DTX502 working properly with your computer. When you install the drivers, plug the USB into your computer from the DTX502, make sure the DTX502 is powered on, then load your DAW. Inside of Cubase on your MIDI track you can choose the MIDI input, there should be an option there that corresponds to the DTX502, set it to that. If not check Devices > Device Setup > MIDI Port Setup to make sure the DTX502 appears and is active. Not entirely sure how to set it up 100% or trouble shoot issues, but this is generally what I've done in the past.
