Love the randomness of KZread that this just popped up. Reminds me of my days working in the Drum from 1993 - 2003 & 2006 - 2009. So many of the houses swept away within a few years.

My wife is from the Drum and always talks about growing up in the 90s there. Being from America it’s hard to imagine with her stories and only seeing the new build Drumchapel. Thanks for the video. 👍

The Drum was crumbling in the 90s and most people were getting moved out

Left the drum in 95 at aged ten still sad now invercanny drive like so many more gone 🥺 brilliant video 👍

Whereabouts in Invercanny did you stay? My husband lived there from 1986 til 1995-96 but his parents stayed there til they got decanted.

The original recording had an extra 15mins or so until my mother recorded Coronation Street over it !! If I remember correctly, it showed the shopping centre, Drumchapel hospital, Glenkirk and more. Lost in the mists of time now i'm afraid.
