Remo’s new Colortone series uses some of the company’s most popular clear models as the foundation to deliver a striking visual complement for your drum set. The heads at Big R have rolled out new editions of the Emperor, Powerstroke 3, and Powerstroke 77 in six beautifully rich colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and smoke.
For this review, I received 13" and 14" Powerstroke 77 snare drum heads in red and smoke, respectively; 12", 14", and 16" Emperor models in green, yellow, and blue; and an orange 20" Powerstroke 3 bass drum batter (resonant-side Powerstroke 3s with a 5" offset port are also on shelves now). My drum set looks like a bag of jelly beans, and I love it.

The blue head sounds the best
Reminds me of the Rock Band and Guitar Hero drums.
This isnt really a review, more like a demonstration. The title is a bit misleading.

It’s not a bit misleading. It IS misleading. A real review would be the drummer discussing the heads AND playing them.

how dare they let you hear how they sound and let you come to your own conclusions instead of telling you how you should feel about them! what's jerks!!!!
Review or sound test?
The heads are amazing I got one on my pearl 13x7 snare and pearl sensitone steel snare and they sound much better
This is not a review, it is actually a demostration . Anyway, those drumheads looks great and sounds better

I think this is what happened after Tony Stark got a hold of them. He made them into drum heads that look and sound good.

I knew thats what happened to those Gems that Thanos collected. Just before he died Tony Stark hid them in a drum set. Brilliant.

Hey AJ- Did these heads seem any different when it came to tuning? Were they more difficult to tune than their non-Colortone versions?

Clear heads on a snare sound like ass.
Toms tuned waaaaay too high.

He tightened them as the demo went on in the video. They were low in the beginning.
These heads sound HORRIBLE
