Yo, respect for making the video.👍🏾👍🏾 I do have some suggestions though. I always see people that aren’t used to using Ableton Live on a regular, always try making beats in the “Arrange View” which is the old school/traditional/MPC/linear (left to right) way of laying down a beat inside a DAW. I would employ you to try out Ableton Live’s “Session View” when it comes to creating beats and ideas and then, recording those ideas into the “Arrange View”. Using both “Session View” and “Arrange View” together in this way is what makes Ableton Llive so unique & powerful. It allows you to come up with patterns & sequences which you would’ve never thought of doing which I call happy accidents. I never go into a the Arrange View until I have all the patterns I would need for a song ( I.e. the 1st verse, 2nd verse, Hook, Bridge, 3rd verse or whatever (only the Intro, Outro and vocal recordings I do in the Arrange View). To me “Arrange View” is 2D, while “Session View” is 3D. Also… since the “Session View” is not the typical/traditional way of making music, read the manual and go step-by-step so you can really understand why session view is so cool and powerful (in my opinion when I haven’t read the manual yet, it’s not fun clicking around when trying to figure something out). 🙏🏾 I would love to hear your thoughts after seriously trying this out for yourself.🫡✌🏾

@@doodoogtube i have tried to make beats in both views and spinned myself In circles.. then i watched some KZread vids that showed a better workflow in arrange view. I am familiar with the building ideas view since i came from Maschine originally. This video didn’t show my normal process since i was under the gun recording. But i feel like it’s much faster…i learned last night you can drag and drop from the session view to arranger and vice versa. Which was very cool. I am still a work in progress. Thank you for the suggestions and i will indeed get better as i learn.
