patrick is so real in such a specific way . like you know he doesn’t say what he thinks . he thinks about what he says to describe how he thinks . it’s always real though

Drug Church is onto something special, these guys and bands like Turnstile are absolute gems

This was great, love how it felt like two buds just chatting instead of an interview.

I remember hearing “I’m Going Through Some Shit” in college while I was going through some shit and thinking “…yeah, I’m probably gonna fuck with anything this dude puts out from now on”. Proud to say I am now no longer going through that particular shit and am STILL fucking with anything this dude puts out

Drug church is 🔥 I’ve had Cheer in my rotation for a couple years now but this last week I realized they actually have a pretty sizable discography… all hits. Wish I explored earlier!!!

Bro the 90s were still in REALITY not VR/ mostly online- it was real, and gritty and in your face; 'No Fear' was a thing (and yes, I know, also a brand name) but that was the feeling of the times ....you had to have to dgaf air about you, especially in hardcore music, especially if you're going to those type of shows I feel or ur gonna get fkd with. I love to find bands that have that sorta music. It feels like beautiful aggressive nostalgia. I don't know about the rest of the 35 + yr old world, especially in the alt, metal & punk scene, but I know I still present and behave like I did 20 years ago. I know I have to mask it sometimes, and I am far less reckless, most of the time, now, but 'growing up' and 'being an adult' isn't something I want to do most days. I still love this music and listening to it, especially live, gives me that feeling of 'I can take the world, cause I'm invincible!' That my teen years had. Also it's so funny to see both of these hardcore dudes complimenting each other lol!

Awesome band! Kinda feel like Hygiene is Drug Church lite.
