I used to do many different drugs in my college years. Now that I’m in my 30s though, I’ve found it just isn’t as much fun as it used to be. I started to feel the comedowns, nausea, and stuff a lot more. There were times when I just wanted this to stop now. I noticed how much of a dent it was leaving in my wallet. These days, I try to use more natural ways to get high, such as qigong, meditation, and floating. That’s enough to keep me off the drugs.

Symptoms of being addicted is you feel the need to do drugs everyday even if you don’t have money to or time to

It's been two months since I stopped using the drug. I have more anger and depression now. When used a lot it is quickly stopped from decreasing. I have a heart beta when I have tension. What about people who's job involved using drugs

I meet all kinds of critters online. I've never met anyone online yet who's married and claiming they're Christian and has a poly or open relationship that wasn't abusing drugs. I'm not making a blanket statement. I'm just saying that's a common theme among those open about it and who have "let" me interview them about their lifestyle. (They didn't know i was just fact finding. I always show the one's who claim to be God fearing Christians all the scriptures that prohibit such kind of behavior and what will happen to them if they continue. I've never known a single one of them who believed the scriptures applied to them and stopped the behavior.) I've watched people who were reasonably strong Christians basically stop serving God and exhibit extreme behaviors once they got started abusing drugs. I usually recognize physical things about them but a bigger hint is how they're suddenly making wild excuses and things just don't add up... it's because they're no longer using wisdom and once you're away from wisdom something will and does replace it. I've been around a lot of addicts over the years so maybe I just know what to look for but when I see it i know what I'm seeing. I personally believe they would be better off losing everything if that's what it takes to see them turn around.

I think we should let them know the seriousness of drug abuse before it becomes more serious, so that they don't start drugs just out of curiosity, thereby reducing drug abuse.
