I was so excited to make this video with Steve! What was the favourite tips we gave? Find the Assegai and DHR 2 on here: bit.ly/35vUrF5

My favourite tip is the speed control, especially on the downhill drops, you always go so much slower than I’d imagine you need to do definitely going to practice slowing it down on such things 👍
@14MaddMaxx
2 жыл бұрын
Definitely speed control, the way you guys force the bike into the ground apply full brake and then let off immediately. Half the time I’m braking my bike is unweighted.
Just brilliant. Love seeing the 'process' in action and especially impressed with the ability to know when to step away. Superb

Yeah - it's fascinating isn't it? If I spend that long looking at things (obviously at a far lower level) I tend to psych myself out and never do it, but maybe I'm not methodical enough!

Great point, they mastered the technic of when they are ready for the feature.
A box full of tires and Remy calls it a year's supply! One tire is more than a year supply for me! Great vid guys!

I'm proud of Steve for tapping out. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to not chase the stoke. Especially when Remy is making it look so buttery.
Drops + Rolls + Squamish = Perfect combination for a ride
That line is 10x gnarlier in person! You guys are on another level!!!
Every time Remy drops a video I stop everything I’m doing and watch these gnarly edits, these videos teach me so much and help me progress. Thank You Remy!

Amazing content. Every single time watching you ride those features. Thank you For that🙏
Sometimes it feels like you guys have a competition on who kills whom first...crazy guys
Remy, this video is INCREDIBLE. I love the way you pieced it together and having Alex shoot those angles to really show you and Steve's body positioning which is not easily found in regular POV footage. Learn something new every time you guys ride together. More content with the two of you please! You should do a mini series with you and Steve haha

Both styles are so clean I think they did my laundry! Remy backs up the dump truck full of in-depth detail, unloads paydirt, and Steve just absorbs it all. Boom, the hammer gets dropped with precision. Line sniping 101. You dudes provide the hype!
Super nice of you to help out a awesome fellow rider, that's what it's all about. Plus now I know why there is a shortage of tyres, you have them all. Lol. Brilliant video. Thanks
I love how Steve is known as the North Shore legend and has made a name for himself and getting all these sponsors. So awesome! Even Wade Simmons said Steve is setting the bar high for freeride.
My heart was racing just sitting on the couch watching Steve do the run ups. Can’t even imagine what is going through his head hitting a feature like that for the first time. Props you guys are truly pushing the limits of what’s possible on a mountain bike.

These lines are insane no margin for error what so ever 😬💯
Watching Steve walk out of the garage, peeking back at his giant box of tires, is just so good! The stoke level is high and the video just started. Good on you Remy! You, Yoann, and especially Steve really get me fired up to go ride!
That was so cool watching his face looking at that box of rubber.
Great episode. Congrats to Steve for the Maxxis sponsorship, and for conquering the Remy line. Large hornes! 🤘

Even though im kinda of a beginner regarding to skills, I really appreciate the emphasis Remy puts on building up to a feature and precision. It is amazing to see a pro rider showing the process and not just the end result. Thank you and massive props for backing Steve up with the maxxis deal! More Steve!

Such a fun day out! Gave me chills, again ahahah!
You are awesome riders with awesome mental control. I wish I could see you in real time at least once in my life. Camera never do justice to the crazy stuff you are riding. 👏👏
1. Can't think of any better way to find out Maxxis has your back 2. Saw Steve leave this for another day a while ago and I am always impressed by someone that knows and rides within their physical and mental limits... So they can ride another day! 3. So stoked to see Steve stomp it, but the first thing he said was, "that was way too slow." I'd say he was either going faster than Remy or popped more 4. The semi wet dirt is in the tires and marking the rock for each landing. Remy landed his first two within about a tire width of each other and maybe a few cm longitudinal distance, but Steve landed a full tire length farther downhill. Combined with landing farther and the longer wheelbase, his front was even closer to missing the transition. His second run he actually landed where Remy did the first 2x
Thanks Rémy for the tips ! I have been there last week and It’s way gnarly than on video ! Respect 🙌
