If your looking for another mainline fallout game then fallout 76 might not be for you, there's a reason it's not named fallout 5, it looks like its essentially gonna be in the same vein as rust.

It is absurd to say that ES Mobile is taking time away from a mainline game.

Yes but they also need money to fund their single player rpgs. Mobile games take so few resources that it wouldn't make a dent in the budget for es6, and they make absurdly large profits. The existence of an elder scrolls mobile game could easily end up giving more budget to es6, as long as Bethesda chooses to invest their new profits there.

It's their big money maker but it also costs a lot of money to make. Mobile games don't make skyrim level profits, but they're incredibly cheap to build, so the dollar per investment ratio blows big budget games out of the water. Of course Bethesda could totally pocket the profit, but they could've pocketed the initial investment just as easily. If they choose to take the profits and funnel it into es6, then es6 gets a higher budget boost than if they just got the money that went into creating the mobile game.

Anne is great but it seemt like shannon wasnt even watching the conference, she was wrong on almost everything she said which was discussed or showed during gameplay. i dont dislike any of them but i guess talking to eachother they sometimes miss alot

Even saying fallout 4 online is disingenuous, there's zero story. They don't show any dialogue or friendly humanoid NPCs, I bet the AI Overseer just gives you fetch quests via the pipboy

I've never seen a more confused group of people that couldn't understand what Todd was talking about. If it is so confounding what 76 is, what games are real and what is a joke, then you may not have as good of a read on the gaming industry. If you thought that every single mechanic could be discuss during this show- it would take several hours. I know its frustrating, but holy crap- watching you guys react was even more frustrating. Yeah it's just par for the course. I love everyone here but they did it with microsoft as well. Up until cyberpunk any trailer that didn't show enough gameplay was met with "where the hell is the gameplay though? For all we know it could be a mobile game!" And then comes cyberpunk and people lost their shit over how amazing it was going to be.

You thought that was bad? I got annoyed at the constant crying over ESO. I was like "We get it, you have 0 ability to wait for a new ES." Like, let that game have its time for those who care. If I was the devs I probably wouldn't say a word about ES until right before release because of how annoying people get about stuff like this. Sol that's basically what they said about blades too. As far as mobile goes that looked alright and Shannon said they were keeping fams waiting for years which makes me mad. Just like with fallout 76 hate, the devs don't owe you anything and I want them to make what they want. Just because you don't personally want that doesn't mean it's a bad game

TES6 is in pre-production, they haven't even come up with a name, it was just a teaser.

If you hate something you make noise, if you love something you sit quietly and enjoy it. Personally I think this is the biggest problem with game developers today, they listen way to much to the feedback of angry minorities that don't even know why they like the games they like. People have been asking for this kind of Fallout for decades and now because Rust exists it's suddenly a horrible idea? I love the Fallout games but I am so excited for Fallout 76 just because it's something different, please Bethesda ignore what we think, ignore our opinions and just make the game you want to make.

You have an interesting perspective but that is for a parallel fanbase not the core of Bethesda single player games. I don't think anyone would complain if we didn't have to wait so long for these releases. There is probably gonna be 10 years between Skyrim and ES6 and there is 3 years between Fallout 4 and 76. If you know how long game development takes you know that it takes 3-6 years to make a AAA title which means the second they were done with Fallout 4 they were already making 76. As for ES6 Todd said there are in "Pre-Production" which means it has at least 3-6 years before it will come out. Basically if you want a single player Fallout game you're gonna be waiting around 6 years before you will see it. That's why people are sad/angry at 76 not just because they don't want it. I am personally interested in playing 76 but I am more sad that it isn't what I want: another Fallout singleplayer game.

ThaPinkGuy all that shows is that people need to learn to be more patient. It is good for a company to experiment otherwise they get called out for there games being to similar a good example of this is Call of Duty and if it takes them years to do so then so be it. This game will probably also introduce a new audience to the fallout franchise and increasing your fanbase is always a good thing.

Jacob Mcclendon You're in the minority. Most of the old Bethesda fans fell in love with their single player RPGs and the great mods fans made for them. Those people obviously prefer PVE and don't want annoying griefers and little kids ruining their game. You also lose mod support which is the main reason most Fallout and TES games have such longevity.

Buidling is for crafting, crafting ammo, crafting weapons, armor and food.!!!! Also your Power Armor

Don't know why I'm surprised to see Andrew WK earlier on with him being in the UK for a festival the day before the conference. Jet lag doesn't affect him it seems lol.

Complaining only after a conference finishes should be a rule. Otherwise we get moaning without a reason like with elder scrolls

I don't understand how they can watch more than like 3 minutes of the FO76 reveal and not immediately get its like ARC and Conan Exiles..

U can only nuke the points on the map, so the Locations that are already in game, Playerbases that are neear that, will be blown up. You can play solo, but have always to be online. They only meant, you can avoid playing vs or with others ;)

You have VATS it is in Real Time, you can still choose the Boyparts. PErks and SKills are in the game, with every level u can choosePerks from so called Perk Cards :) If you Logg off, you take your base with you, with your C.A.M.P

All I need to know is what are the perks, can I turnoff PvP, and is there Vats But other then Fallout everything looks good

I will say if fallout 76 does have the online part I don't mind it still going to be fun I've always wanted a online fallout and Elder scrolls minus the mmo part.

The general incompetence shown here is incredible. The person at the end who said they didn't know where you begin to see info about the Fallout 76 beta obviously didn't listen to the last bit of the conference where the the URL was said. And that's only one of the many common sense things they failed to understand. Then they go all backwards on what they themselves said, at the beginning they kept asking for a TES6 reveal, then at the end "Why would they announce elder scrolls? Everyone knows you're making it." One of the most incohesive, all over the place, caviled and captious reactions to an E3 conference I've seen.

I was thinking that you could prob toggle PVE or PVP. That way other players could attack you while flagged in PVP mode, while in PVE mode must be the SIngle play and building together aspect defending against Monster NPC as the vid showed only NPC's fighting your base. So if by any chance you get nuked by one of the Nuclear Missiles, as the nukes are random and your in that area your base is gone. Gonna have to rebuild again. Mabey for example if i created a base in a certain spot I tell another player/Friend to come and join my game we create 2 bases in the same area and defend against monster NPC's. That's the survival aspect of building your base (PVE= just fighting monster NPC's. PVP=NPC's and PVPer's) If they include a feature that you can do quest's in groups that would be great. But i am just speculating, but that's my thought on it.

Missed it last night, Im 13 minutes in and Shannon already got a new follower, love the enthusiasm :D

Fallout 76 restricts griefing. So don’t worry.

If they hadn't announced ES6 after that mobile game and said it was in active development... Todd may have not made it out of the building alive. The audience (especially Jesse Cox) started to look like rage virus zombies. He might also be a synth, so...

Did you chumps miss the fact that Starfield and Elder Scrolls 6 is going to be next gen? Even IF they had something they could show, which in the case of Elder Scrolls I'm pretty sure they don't. But if they did, they wouldn't be allowed to show it. Next gen games aren't going to be shown off until at least next year. I'm surprised X-Box and Sony even allowed Bethesda to announce that it's going to be next gen.

While I get that you all were disappointed it wasn't a main game after years of waiting, I really, really dislike the attitude towards mobile games. I could barely endure watching you talk over Blades. While you don't have to like it, one at least has to acknowledge this milestone for mobile games from a techincal point of view.

TES6 is 2020-2021 at the earliest. Remember they didn't show fuck all for Starfield, meaning there's nothing much of anything to show yet, meaning it's in early development. So that game is at the earliest Xmas 2019, even if they shoft a chunk of developers from Starfield to TES6 when they are done with thier part in Starfield, a game like TES6 takes a lot of work and time, it'll take at least 1-2 years past Starfield to be brought out. Unless they accelerate development for TES6 and dump a shitton of resources on it, we won't see it any time soon.

I don't understand the hate Fallout 76 is getting. Sure people want a new Fallout, but its fairly obvious they werent going to do another regular one with the next gen so close. This looks interesting and its different. And it appears they are testing ideas for future games i.e potential coop. It offers something different and is a refreshing break. Maybe it will be average, maybe it will be amazing, but its surely going to be better than Rust, 7 Days etc...

There's "add co-op", and then there's "add a bunch of random people in your world, with nukes that let them just press a button to destroy everything you have and make griefing that much easier." A lot of Fallout fans have a playstyle which makes them the prime targets for trolls and griefers, and instead of assuring us of a pve option for all us 'live and let live' players, they tried to hype people for built in griefing mechanics. In an interview later, Todd Howard confirmed that pve won't even be an option, so that's just lovely then.

Jesus what's with all the pesermisim guys? I watch some peeps and they might have issues with some things, but this was just negative throughout, maybe bring a bit more excitement and optimism next year. Just a little.

Fallout 76 is bethesda going after games like rust, ark and so on. They just made a wholly survival based game.

Am I the only one envisioning this as gta 5 plus rust plus fallout for 76?

GTA is mostly about vehicles and gathering money... Rust is mostly about survival and tension. 76 seems to be mostly about the world and what you can do in it. Something those two games severaly lack.

experimental game my ass....they need to stress test their servers - thats about it. They are not interested in your feedback - the game is out in under 5 months - its too late to do anything other than balance testing and server load testing. And its not the RISK you guys are making it out to be - there's been bethesda games u guys liked and games u guys have not - they do a great job in supporting those games but any game u try is a risk - if u think u wont like the game, wait & see what the response is, otherwise quit complaining about early looks at the game ur gonna buy anyways - this isnt a steam early access by devs that abandon their games and this isnt zenimax studios (an outlet studio under bethesda)...use ur heads, seriously.

What they said the BETA was for was mainly for tweaking the amount of things needed in the world, balancing how many players there should be at any given time, and I suspect the radius of the nukes...

Man, Fallout 76 looks terrible... It was kinda funny seeing the hype meter rocket up during the trailer, then plummet as they talked about it being online, then go into the negative when they started showing the empty gameplay. The most #$%@ed thing of all; online means no mods!

First there are no free mobile games.If there is no price there are micro transactions which is worse. About the ES series its just that Beth should respect the games-people that made them that successful. Every ES that comes out is worse than the previous and if they didn't want to make the mobile one there would b no ES6 announcement since it will b done in 5-10 years at least. My opinion is that they shouldn't be that greedy. They don't have to make money from every platform that exists. They should just try to b better...on fallout and the es, the rest are amazing

John Adam you clearly have not played much mobile games. The game will probably have micro transactions true but they will almost certainly be optional just like in fallout shelter. It also makes perfect sense that they are going to wait for the release of the next gen to make the elder scrolls game and why shouldn’t they as they will then be able to deliver a better game to the fans. In regards to the mobile game not being loyal to the fanbase fallout shelter proves that is not true with how many people have downloaded it. Furthermore what is to say that some of the profits from the mobile game will not be put into making elder scrolls 6 better? In regards to each being worse then the last I respectfully disagree and since the fanbase has not gotten smaller over the years it would seem like the majority would disagree as well.

"free" mobile game. No doubt it will be monetized out the ass. Freemium games are something Bethesda should NOT dabble in.

Sky Guy as I said they would almost certainly be Optional micro transactions just like in fallout shelter. Also they have already dabbled in mobile games with the the game I have mentioned several times and they were extremely successful at it.

The fact that fallout 4 has been selling more doesnt make a better game or a game the fans of the original fallout would want. Not even close. Same thing for the fans of morrowind, the game that saved Beth. Skyrim is waaay worse than Morrowind for them. Fallout shelter is nothing like the original Fallout. It has no price so yes it has a huge number of downloads but its not a (rpg) game. Its a way to spend time (and money) like most of mobile games. Its not the end of the world, its just sad. Gaming studios turning to corporations and all this creativity wasted on...crap

Where's the E3 2018 PC Gaming Show ? Also not showing chat reactions on these E3 videos is laughable. I thought you guys were professional content producers Come on bro...

TheTomtah showing the chat reactions would be pointless because of the hype meter it is just constant spam of that command. Which is unfortunate as I agree that showing the chat with out that would be a great addition.

never heard about q champions, but it looks worse then q3. wtf is that.

I think I'm the only person in the world that doesn't care about Fallout or Elder Scrolls.

If I fell asleep at all, it was because you guys sapped my energy by your lack of enthusiasm... And I say that, not because you _should_ enjoy every thing, but maybe not acting like your sleeping, and maybe comment on a few things, otherwise what's the point in watching your stream over another?
