@@xawsum1x979 saw them live, Adam and Eddie both have the energy to blow up a building. Their first song, I had the honor to be scared by Adam. He jumped off stage and started stomp charging me screaming lyrics. Man, DOK isn’t the band to mess with. That’s for sure.

The rap is better than most popular rappers though.

I met these folks in my small town today. They were super chill and I'm very glad I asked about their Dropout logos. I don't usually like rap, but this mix is so amazingly done!

This comment section is like "I don't like it so none else should." Wake up people we all like different shit and they ain't bad for what they are doing but just not my taste. Keep the work up though might get there.

Some people say you ain’t a true hip hop lover unless you only listen to hip hop. Some metal heads say you ain’t a true metal head unless you only listen to metal. I say you’re not a true music lover if you only listen to one genre of music and don’t have an open mind to different shit. Fuck all these haters. Jayson Walker, Jr. I think some of the hate is because it's on Napalm Records and they're not generally associated with this stuff. The rest of the hate is because the music is shite.

I am hooked to this Jesus! Im so ashamed i just discovered them now. They have a diverse sunod and is actually dope. Long live the kings!

This is officially one of my favorite all time songs. It is perfect. It is everything I could ask for. Dropout Kings came to me at a very important time in my life. Im a super new fan, started listening yesterday. Ive had a very hard month with a relationship ending and my father dying. This band has already begun to help me mend. Im a musician myself and love blending styles together. Crossover genres are my absolute favorite. Hope to see you guys live in AZ one day! I lived in Tempe once and love it there. The lyrics of early nu metal are ripped straight out of the post grunge era. You're not thinking straight you just want someone to be wrong bro wake up. Jon Davis is also a cross-dressing closet loser who probably still plays WoW 24/7. Whether he likes Skrillex or not has nothing to do with the quality. He also can't sing worth shit lol. Nor can he write intelligent lyrics.. As for dubstep.. Mt Eden (one of the first dubstep artists) was literally one of the only decent producers of dubstep. Sierra Leone by Mt Eden is dubstep. Skrillex is trash, not dubstep. Even hip-hop since chief kief has literally only gone completely down hill. If you listen to dubstep and find yourself really wanting to headbang.. you're an idiot

@@Merc399 I don’t care about your felonies… What does that lil tidbit of info have to do with the price of rice in China… Also, people have their tastes in music, you could’ve been more subtle about your opinion or not even let it be known, it’s dumb to me when people hate on bands just because of their own opinions, and KoRn and most nu-metal acts have that hip hop influence, hell at the end of the Blind video they’re playing Lick A Shot by Cypress Hill, on the Life Is Peachy album they cover Ice Cube’s Wicked… I honestly prefer this over most of what rap music is doing these days with some terrible lyricists that shouldn’t EVEN be making a living off of music, even though the music industry tends to rob every musician there is with shady practices

@@OooSooTrippy look I get where you're coming from bro but idk if you've noticed the absolute degradation of music over the past 20 years. Both morally and the lyrics on average have reduced to being that of a third grade reading level. This shift is being pushed by major corporations and who they choose to licence and promote. They're purposefully trying to dumb us down and destroy our moral compass. At some point we have to push back. Taking your example, Korn, their song blind is a deep introspective about losing touch with someone's inner self and the fear and isolation that can come from that. There's a huge emotional lesson to the listener to gain from that message. Or even in hip hop from the same time period Nas's song "the message" talking about a time when he became obsessed with himself and was struck down by his own hubris and ended up in the hospital. These songs have real lessons to be garnered by the listener. They actually had something to say. Music today is just a product to be sold with no substance behind it and honestly bro you should join me in pushing back against it
