When you fall from light into darkness, don't curse it, but embrace it with love, realising that God is showing you some more mud where another one of your precious jewels is hidden. Our job in this world is one of rectification, to find each hidden jewel and pearl and dig it out from the dirt until the whole world we experience shines with jeweled, iridescent splendour.

One of the most oft repeated phrases in the Bible is "fear not". This because we cannot be in fear and be in our right mind at the same time. The human mind has a great attraction to fear, yet fails to realize that it is a great poison to the individual person, to one's well being, and to society at large. Yes we can see how the chess pieces are moving upon the world stage - but we needn't offer our fear as a libation to appease the 'gods' which would ask it of us.

People of a deeper nature ask themselves who they are. They can only begin to answer that question when they themselves why they are the way they are now. But ultimately, we only find the answer when we ask WHY we are. When we deny ourselves the question, we deny ourselves true life, being little more than a sophisticated, conditioned automaton - and THAT is the matrix we are intended to see through, to REACH true life. By focusing the mind like the sun's rays through a magnifying glass upon the paper veil before us, we may burn through it, to see what lies beyond.. That is the only purpose of our being in this world. Without fulfilling our cosmic purpose, we are like probes sent down to this planet by a mothership, with us having an important task to perform, but communication has been lost, and without that communication, the probes have built up a whole culture based upon their ignorance, in amnesia of their intended task, whilst they ravage the earth for its resources, with an insatiable thirst that is like a shipwrecked sailor drinking seawater.

I get a little confused by the constant flipping between dualistic messages like this one and oneness ones in others.

My best guess is that is due to words themselves. We exist in a "dualistic" experience within the "oneness". This experience is the teacher that allows us a continuous line back to oneness. An analogy would be a pendulum. It swings "back" and "fourth" repeatedly in a seemingly continuous motion. But you cannot have a fourth without a back and back without a fourth. Hope this helps. Words often lend to the confusion.

Let's say you spent $199 for maximum affect. Have you spent more than this on a plane ticket to the retreat? How about on a dinner meal with loved ones? Or perhaps on a lowly monthly subscription that only provides garbage? Truth is, service requires energy. If you provide free service to the masses you will be depleted very quickly. This is not economics but universally speaking the law of distribution. I imagine you took away from this retreat something more valuable than $199 spent on drinks at a bar once upon a time. Just my thoughts.

But if you go back to my original post you will notice that there is nothing there that would contradict the position you're stating. I'm just stating facts and issuing a sober warning.
