Same here! I discovered them in 1992 when I was twenty and here I am at the age of 51 excited as hell over this!!! I never saw this coming but I'm so glad it has!!!

This track and video reminds me exactly what early nu-wave music was like to experience back then & trust me I grew up back then. The wild and free expression with up front Guitar and infectious bass line and couple a blonde with a beatbox!! It is all here folks even that acoustic groove all mixed to perfection! I mean this to me is like early talking heads or violent femme early cure etc… I just love what you all are doing here pure and true it shines through in spades!! Thank you for this. It is vintage and Fresh all at the same Time. At least to me it is. £=‘P

I haven’t looked into this band yet at all. From this one video and song, I will say that the tone and style reminds me more than a little of an older band called Dead Artist Syndrome. These bands aren’t apples to apples, but I can’t help make a connection.

The Drop 19's were my age exactly the first go round. They were pure and raw, and captured this timeless feeling then. To see this now feels, and sounds, like a life come full circle. This is just amazin - speechless at how fine and beautiful this is. It's no lie at all to say I am SO excited to see them live soon - just the best of dreams come true, and wholly unexpected.
