Honestly speaking : did my jee preparation with regular school (roz koi jaata nai tha) . Teachers were always demotivating and my physics teacher even mocked me when i couldn't do optical bench experiment (parallax) Whole environment was so toxic that it really affected my preparation. Yet i kept preparing and tried to ignore teachers and some classmates as they boycotted me as i studied in front of them. Jealous people stopped talking to me , but whenever i talked to them i talked to them politely. Days went by i kept preparing even though my head hurted ,all those negative thoughts clouded my mind,isolated myself in my home. Didn't attend school farewell afterparty at a 5 star hotel,as i didn't feel close to them ever. Jee mains jan attempt went bad (91.5%) but i know i really deserve 98-99.5% Prepared for 2nd attempt after boards for 20 days ,was confident to score above 95 but actually scored below 90. My actual friends scored 95% even though i put in my efforts 2× more than them. Solved cengage illustrations in breaktime in my coaching...even toppers thought i would score more than them 😂 Still kept my mind strong and now taking drop , isolating myself, self studying 📖, solving relevant books...

Heyy there, so here I am after viewing my result for josaa 5th & the last round for the year 2024. Although I studied with full efforts for jee mains & advanced and I would like to share the result with you all and also a bit background story about how I reached that score. So I scored 93.8 percentile in JEE mains which gave me rank CRL 94200 & SC category rank 3727 which qualified me for jee adv but unfortunately I got 60 positive marks but due to negative it turned to 49. Only 5 marks to qualify ADV. but I did qualify preparatory courses in IITs. Now a quick flask back about my 2 years of preparation, not gonna flex my class 10 percentage as it is of no use but after 10 I have joined at some T…. tutorials in which I found myself a topper as the students there were very weak which gave me the overconfidence that Jee was also soo simple as they were teaching but the reality was very different than I had thought. So after successfully blindly believing what the teachers there were teaching and following every study material the provided 1 year had passed then I thought to take some pyqs as a practice for the exam. To my shock I found that I wasn’t able to solve even the simplest question and all this time I was in a disbelieve that like this I could easily bring AIR under 1000 so I researched a bit about the teaching like I saw PW lectures from youtube and was shocked that my previous coaching classes was only teaching the level that was way below that of boards. I told my parents about it and after convincing them for about 3-4 months they finally agreed to change the tuition. Now I had only 6 months left for the exam. Initially my 2 months were a waste in the new tuition as the course was almost about to end and I couldn’t understand even a single thing. Then I started collecting the notes of the chapters of the beginning and along with pw lectures for 11tha nd my coaching for 12th I completed some chapters for the exam for mains level. Chapters that I know mains level:- Quadratic eqns, SNS, Binomial, Matrices, Complete calculas, Vectors, 3D geometry, Mole concept, Atomic Str, Periodic Table,Solutions,Chemical kinetics, Complete organic except for isomerism, (I didn’t knew entire class 12th), Kinematics, NLM,COM & collision,Gravtitaion, SHM , Waves, Modern Physics. Only these were the chapters I had prepared for jee mains & adv and got VNIT (electrical & electronics engineering), but my dream college is IIT DELHI so I was thinking to take to take a drop this year and to focus on the chapters that got skipped due to the less time I got preparation. So what do you think will I able to get a IIt in next year I studied like this for another year??? So should I take risk a take a drop this year and give JEE again next year or should I take admission in VNIT????

am from general category too, always used to get low percentile in my mains mock compared to adv mock and alas! ended getting 93 percentile in jm. my selection was 1 question away from mee. But i think i can still give my left over input in my last attempt btw good luck to all who are taking drop, i am sure you would get your dream rank and proove others wrong.

I got 95.7%ile in jan attempt and in april i got 171 on 9s1 and hoping for 98%ile+ now preparing for advance and getting around 150 marks last advance mock(166) And with around 150 makrs i hope for under 10k rank in advance this year but it is not as my expectations which is i wanted under 100 rank which is not possible this year so i have to take drop for 2025 just for making my dream come true

I was in 12th and i wasn't serious about studies and didn't knew about jee at all but then i scored 62% in boards and then i took drop then studied for jee but not properly because i had liver infection yet i scored 52% in jee (january) and 41% in (april) and i am now very dissapointed with myself and demotivated i am still studying 10-12 hours daily but i am still confused should i take a double drop for preparing jee again while giving improvement i.e. taking readmission in class 12th or should i take a college with this percentile and 12th marks (i am from obc category and i am really demotivated i am not from the richest families that can afford private colleges either still i can afford and i am pursuing for a good tier 1-2 NIT) is my decision right should i do this or should i just take admission in any college (in my opinion i think this will put me back i will get distracted again and maybe i couldn't be able to get a perfect job to support the welfare of my family..) but still i want to ask from whoever reading this paragraph.. what should i actually do..?
