Sorry to hear you had a tough time. We've released a new version of the Android app (2.0.42) which should have some fixes here. One thing we have found some challenges with is that DJI SDK doesn't particularly like it if there are 0 images on the SD card. I'd suggest taking one or two quick snaps and checking they're there with the DJI Go app before taking off again.

Thanks Jono, I will update the app on Android. I am pleased to say we had more success with the ipad mini, and so far have been very impressed with Drone Deploy. I hope to make another video very soon no I have got it working. Thanks for your comment & advice.

Exactly the same happened to me in France last month. I was 3D mapping a property for my portfolio and went through all the same startup procedure as you. My P3 Standard took off and flew the route perfectly but like you, no images captured to the SD card. Very frustrating as tried 4 attempts and two full batteries but still no joy. Regarding Jono's comment about 0 images on SD card, there were plenty so I will try the update and re-run the test.

Thanks Ben for a great test so it looks like you have to manually press the record button is that so.

eaglevp No it should take a picture every second or so and the mapping software should then stich them all together. I'm not sure why it recorded video? I pressed to record button during flight a couple of times but that didn't appear to do anything? I think I may need to go in to DJIGO and change from video mode to photo mode first? Will try again soon! Thanks for watching!
