South Boulevard-Park Row Historic District is located in the southern part of Dallas, Texas.
It was added to the National Register on February 5, 1979.

The South Boulevard - Park Row Landmark Historic District consists of over 100 houses built primarily by the city’s Jewish community between 1910 and 1935. The development of the neighborhood was anchored by Temple Emanu-El’s newly built synagogue, which was completed in 1917 and located at Harwood Street and South Boulevard. Congregation Tiferet Israel moved to the neighborhood in 1939, and their building still stands today at Edgewood Street and Al Lipscomb Way (formerly Grand Avenue). The neighborhood was developed around the same time as Swiss Avenue and, similarly, the homes are a mix of relatively intact Prairie School, Craftsman bungalow, and historical revival styles designed by leading Dallas architects - including Lang and Witchell, George Dahl, Roscoe DeWitt, and Hubble and Greene. Former owners and residents included some of Dallas’ most prominent businessmen and retailers like Neiman Marcus cofounder Herbert Marcus (2620 South Boulevard), Abraham Kahn of the E.M. Kahn family (2634 South Boulevard), and former Linz Brothers president Ascher Kahn (2734 South Boulevard). By the late 1950s, most of the neighborhood’s Jewish residents had moved to rapidly growing North Dallas neighborhoods, and Congregations Temple Emanu-El and Tiferet Israel relocated with them. South Boulevard - Park Row became Dallas’ 3rd Landmark historic district in 1977.

I'm glad the doggie has a home. I love dogs. I love large breeds the most.
I work for the DISD. One of the middle schools I've worked in is getting a brand new building. The old one will be boarded up and demolished in time. I think the new one opens up in 2025.
The big Ferris Wheel is in Fair Park. The state fair of Texas is there every fall. It's so much fun, and I live close enough to walk to it.

You were driving in the #1 most dangerous high crime neighborhood in Dallas. The only time it’s somewhat safe is Fair Park and Cotton Bowl
They should turn the abandoned school into condos.

They should be turned into a transitional apartment complex for the house-less people who have jobs and can't afford housing.
TOON. You give me an idea to do a video of the Estates of Prairie Creek in Richardson Texas. It's beautiful and is where I grew up. The trail and Creek area with a waterfall will have to be a walking tour. I'll do that in the fall. It's too hot now.

Park Manor - DHA Residential Communities is the big apartment building in the distance in front of you at timestamp 41:25.
Fair park is where they hold the state fair (I looked it up). We have a dedicated fenced area for our state fair but the amusement rides are provided by whatever company travels around doing midways at fairs. Kind of a half assed Wildwood without the beach and ocean. Can I say that?

@@VooV830 I was not that good, but I did used to go across that flat ladder thingie. So a few years ago when there were no kids in the playground I tried the ladder thingie. I couldn’t go one rung I could only hang. Not a good memory, lol

@Costco it’s 3.97 a gallon, and that 4.03 is the easy pay price at Circle K where I get my daily sip and save. The cc price there is $4.13. I watch the price at Costco went up 10 cents a day last week. I was following it on gas buddy.

@@leisure057blank3 and that's his downfall. I've seen him on Instagram pumping gas and it's going past $100 already. I think that's why he became a vegetarian couldn't afford meat no more😂😂😥😥

@@l_o_c_o_666 it was costing more than a hundred bucks to fill that tank when he left Philly. My gas tank is approximately 11 gals. A few months back it was costing me 18 bucks to fill it, now it’s over 21 bucks for half a tank
